    • Allow me an option to shut off or limit the drone volume
    • increase activity of civilians and sentinel in Liberty to reflect a population under lockdown and developing resistance
    • Make the Wolves into a more effective and threatening QRF force. Give me a reason to actually fear them.
    • Have a QRF force come in by helo and dismount to come looking for you. This spawning mechanic feels like the away team from Star Trek just beamed in.

All of these are doable, with the exception perhaps of civilians and sentinel in Liberty which may need other compromises to squeeze into the game.

I don't even need a major overhaul do them all at once thing. Try doing a bit at a time. Any progress at all would be a positive thing. Just increasing rng drops on faction missions and the overflight activity isn't really making the environment more alive. The dev team has to start thinking in these terms, what makes this feel more realistic and logical. That in turn increases immersion as enemy behavior feels more realistic. As opposed to dumping 8 snipers (most of whom are crowded into a single tower), 5 Aamons and 10 RTOs on a base just to protect a truck.

....along with a few other aspects I feel contributes to the poor gameplay experiences I've had, I totally agree.

I have no favorable expectations for GRB at this point so if I do return back to the GR franchise, it will have to be in a future release. .....of course, depending on if they can make a game that entices me to come back.

A compromise. Like a give and take? Like take from one place, and give it to another...

Lots of players feel that the cities/towns/civilian areas are too under populated and lack any sort of dynamic feeling of life.
Likewise, lots of players feel that the forests are too crowded with bland, poorly placed, encounters/enemies.
And the story is that the island is under a locked down martial law, and that there are riots/protests happening, but Paris has failed to actually include any of that in the game.

I propose a "simple" bandaid that might help with all three of these:
Take the encounters in the wilds, the ones with sentinel arresting civilians, pick them up, and place them in the population centers. Thins the wilds, adds life to the cities, and brings a little credibility to an otherwise hollow narrative.
Clearly, with the huge ramp up in Drones and Sammy counts for the elite faction missions, the game can handle large groups.

Speaking from a game systems perspective, the areas in which these encounters happen clearly work on an RNG spawn generation, since the encounters are never the exact same, or in the exact same spot.
All they have to do is remove the Sentinel+Civilian encounters off that list, reduce the amount of encounters that are attempted to spawn, create a clone of this same system, place it on the populated areas, and add only those specific encounters on to the new RNG list.
It's mostly copy and paste work, literally.

@Virtual Chris----As with most of us; I can certainly understand your frustration/s. I'd like to extend a personal thanks to you for all the time, effort, and creativity you've put into the many posts, topics, ideas, and such. That's the type of thing that makes an online community. I'd still bet a hundred bucks you've got the BEST grocery list of anybody here!

Waiting (as if we had a choice) for the now delayed TU and the AI Team----I've got my fingers crossed, but given the GRB TU track record of success..................I"m giving this one a very large "minimum safe distance"...........................in case it detonates like the others. If TLoU 2 was a PC title---I'd definitely be checking that out in July----in the mean time I'll stick with FC 5 (freeplay not the ****** campaign), TW 3 and GRW. Oh yea..............and hoping CyberPunk's Sept. release date holds!

    .
An optimisation. As in the game is struggling to optimise all the things it has to do. Adding more NPCs could be more than the game can handle without introducing more bugs or performance issues. I'd be willing to bet that the price to pay for dead bodies hanging around is less live ones moving around.

I bet the game would work better if it was offline and not live streamed. They should be able to stream as many NPCs as I can kill since it's not offline. EPIC FAIL . I bet offline is a great optimization why hasnt anyone suggested this lol

Because it won't help the rendering capability in your console or PC. Wildlands had the same limitation which is why dead bodies despawned.

You could look to Stadia, though, and game streaming. You'll get high spec graphics without needing high spec graphics processing capability in your platform of choice.
