Both Buffs and Nerfs to CC in PTS 3

After reading the PTS 3 patch notes, I wasn't quite sure if CC skills took another Nerf or did some of them actually get Buffed. Below is a simple answer for each of the skills that were changed:

    Seeker Mine: Buff

    Stinger Hive: Tier 1-3 NERF
    Tier 4-Overcharge: Buff

    Chem Launcher: NERF

    Blinder Firefly: NERF

    Banshee Pulse: NERF

    Jammer Pulse: NERF

    Shock Trap: Buff and NERF

During PTS 2, the CC nerfs affected only Heroic and Legendary Missions. The PTS 3 Buffs and Nerfs will affect all levels of play. Things that make you go Hmmmm

The reversion of the NPC resistance increases is a good thing, while they lowered the base damage on some of the damage skills they did increase the dmg % per skill tier so some will actually be stronger on an all yellow tier 6 build?

All this overshadows the massive nerf to the merciless this went from looking like the new rifle meta back to a trophy again explosive damage for landing 7 marks was reduced from 1200% back to 500% lower than what it was originally, because they said now it doesnt suffer from the same accuracy issues?

Correct. It still has its base accuracy issues (and by that, I mean its stability issues), but the new Weapon Handling is meant to be the stat of choice in making it so. The right amount of WH will make it kick like an M1A, meaning you can plow into a baddie and get those stacks insanely fast, thus requiring the explosive damage nerf.

Its actually more of a fix and I rather have it this way then the way they had it in PTS2. In PT2, the NPC resistance not only affected CC builds but heavily affected Status Damage builds as well. They revered the NPC resistance change and instead put it on the individual skills themselves which was teh correct call.
