    Healing itself can be a rough thing to test especially for solos. Getting groups together on the PTS is difficult.

    I don't like that they nuked status effects for heroic and legendary. I think it was pandering to an extent, but Eclipse would overshine the other 2 sets if they didn't. Besides some people need to realize the consequences of what they ask for before they are finally forced to relent.

    The problem in the current raid is that Damage Skills get nerfed really quickly. They nerfed the fire turret precisely because there was a tactic to use it to block doorways. A lot of skills when proved effective get nerfed. It is obvious that the devs want more Tank or Healer styles to be valid over Damage Skill builds. Notice the higher buffs on Skill heals vs Skill Damage. Too bad all of the healing skills are intentionally softened for PvP and it severely weakens them tactically for PvE in turn.

    I heard a story about a clan that actually tried to force their members to use Tanks and Healers in the raid. I think it was an almost equal balance as well. A member of my clan came in to assist them. The person in question has 300+ Raid completes from before WONY and 100+ after. He is an extremely experienced raider. Anyway this clan's attempt was an unmitigated disaster in Dark Hours. They could not make it past Boomer. The simple reason was the healers and Tanks could not control the adds. Neither could do enough damage to boomer to max out his 4 stages. Pretty much the Adds kept adding up and then boomer always ended the party by breaking the turrets.

    So we are to try to have this in the upcoming raid and force it on legendary. Future Initiative has a lot of damage boost, but the problem is that it requires a team to be at full armor. Good luck with that when you have hives that heal slowly or chem launchers that dissipate quickly only to run out of charges. Will the Devs have to lower the Armor and Health of the bosses to compensate for this. Will legendary have to be nerfed as far as NPC Armor and Health? They may not plan to do so now, but I really wonder how things will go when trying to make this work in the hardest difficulty in groups starts to play out.

    Will strong skills and builds on paper fail when exposed to the content itself?
    If that's the case then what the devs want and what I want aren't compatible. I'm not turning up to a Raid just to play support for the gun guy because the devs can't balance their guns properly. **** that noise! So if the only place they have designed for the raid is a healer and a tank then I doubt I'll be participating in the raid at all. But it doesn't just end there though as they are also forcing skill builds to be useless in Heroic and in Legendary, so there isn't much left of the game for players like me. As it stands right now if TU10 goes ahead I doubt I'll be playing the game in the future.

    Honestly, a Tank and a Healer doesn't work for Legendary in the game's current state.
    You're missing out on so much damage, that enemies rush you to death (especialy heavies), before you manage to take them down.
    So you're constantly falling back to a point where you no longer can fall back.
    Otherwise they're standing right next to you while you're shooting BB's at their 10 megaton re-inforced space-armor plates.

    And even if you manage to finish it:
    You're missing out on so much damage, that a legendary mission will be stretched from a whopping 50 minutes to 2 hours+.

    Legendary enemies are so overtuned in HP, that you're either going full DPS, or you won't finish it at all.

    3 * DPS and 1 CC worked out so damn well because the DPS people were actualy able to put out their damage, without dying every 5 seconds.
    Now without CC at hand, difficulty is much much higher. (not 75% harder, more like 1000% harder)
    Even though you're going 4 * DPS, you can't put out all the damage because you're getting shot back constantly.

    1 Tank wont work, because tank builds still suck, and you will just keep on dying.
    There's absolutely no mechanic that allows you to ACTIVELY TAUNT enemies to you, other than staying out of cover and walking up their face. As long as 3 DMG builds shoot the enemies, the enemies will continue to attack the DMG builds, rather than the actual tank.
    It only works if DPS builds stay behind cover, but that way, you're not doing any damage.
    It simply doesn't work properly due to lacking mechanics.


    And 1 tank + 1 healer doesn't work because you're lacking so much damage in your team, you rather go play some tetris instead of going through that 2 hour chore.



    Was CC build broken before?
    Absolutely.
    Was it worth an absolute abomination of 75% nerf to destroy the next biggest build that made legendary missions actualy fun to play?
    **** no.

    The devs have just absolutely no ******g clue what they're doing because they don't actively play the game, it's obvious.
    They look at the numbers, especialy DMG, ARMOR and CC TIME, change them so it looks good on paper.
    But in actual game-play, it's just broken AF.


    Remember when they said in their state of the game that they want TU10 to bring back the FUN?
    I don't see any fun in this new chore legendary missions just became.

    It wasn't fun before.
    Now it's even worse.


    Congratulations.


    They're just making it really hard to enjoy the game any longer.
    On top of that, bugs i've reported a long time ago still haven't been adressed.

    So let's just hope TU10 doesn't **** it up even more than it is now.
    Guess we can't expect more than that.
    And it's impossible to stay calm around these patch notes.

    If you think that’s cheesy why don’t you take seekers out of the game or assault or striker drones basically skill that little to no effort

    You do realise that is what people would go to next right? There’s always something people would prefer to run the problem with the CC nerf is it essentially means that playstyle is dead.

    At least until they nerf seekers and drones LMFAO. Bet you’re one of those people that hasn’t even completed 1
