There are 12 Loadout Slots with 9 pieces of gear/weapon per slot.
Let's say you have 12 completely unique loadouts without any duplicate pieces.
1. True Patriot
2. Ongoing Directive
3. Hardwire
4. Aces & Eights
5.Tip of the Spear
6. Negotiator Dilemma
7. Striker
8. Corruption
9. DPS
10. Healer
11. Skill
12. Tank
You are wearing one of them right now. That leaves 11 loadouts in your backpack.
11 Loadouts times 9 unique gear/weapon pieces equals 99 slots.
Yep, that only leaves you with one slot while running missions or roaming the LZ, pickup new gear.
I'm aware that most people don't have this setup, but we should be allowed to without compromising our gamegplay.
Keep this in mind the next time the Devs say we have enough storage space.
If you're going to commit to having that many sets/loadouts, you're better off distributing them over the four potential character slots. It's a PITA to establish, but a practical solution to the issue. A lesser practical solution would be to stow the least-used half of those sets in your main stash, and sub them out as required.
Optimally, as you alluded to, you'd also want ~30 free backpack slots (per character) when running missions, etc., so you aren't constantly taking breaks to evaluate loot under fire or otherwise straggling behind the team... not stating that you are, however, the 'average' player would be prone to this under those circumstances.
I already have my loadouts between multiple characters as you mentioned, but it would be nice to be able to store them all on one character.
Possible solution: Make loadouts NOT count against your backpack storage. This would incentivize people to create more unique loadouts, even if it were just to hold more items.
When matchmaking, you never know what type of gear will best support the group until you start playing. It would be great to have on hand the right load out for any given situation.
Thanks for the feedback.
Oh i wish this was the case. It does get annyoing when you have to sort your inventory and accidently stash a loudout item and then break all loudouts connected to it. or accidently dismantle something thas part of a loudout..Originally Posted by CoopX-Box Go to original post
And be able to change loadouts in combat... amount of times ive found a talent or something is broken and you have to swap gear around to fix it. but you cant swap gear because your in combat.. you can change guns and skills anytime you want.. whole loadouts shouldbe possible as well. certainly be quicker than having to cift through entire inventorys to find the right shotgun or right set of skills for the current situation..
it's not as hard to make now... the alts i mean..
you can level boost now right?...
man.. i had to level 3 alts on my own.. and back then the game was "dead".. nobody to power level me..
but yeah.. if you play that many gear sets and builds.. you might want to have alts..at the very least for additional storage.
I believe WoNY purchasers received one free L30 character boost, leaving the remaining ten levels plus SHD activation up to the player. They are then able to instantly increase all subsequent SHD characters up to the level of the highest one on the account. This feature was added so that players wouldn't have to regrind SHD levels per character, without which I'm sure Ubi would have undoubtedly received a backlash from the players. Outside of that, players would have to purchase L30 character boosts with premium credits.Originally Posted by zigMAGNA Go to original post
I only gave the recent buzz on the forums WRT 'TOS' and 'bannable offences' a superficial glance, so power-levelling may now be considered one. Like you, I already had all my alts levelled and now SHD-updated, and also never power-levelled because I actually enjoyed that part of the game. However, any players now entering that territory and considering being power-levelled would be advised to confirm that possibility.
