I write from the perspective of a PvE player. This has been mentioned many times, but I do not see any reaction from developers in this area, so I will repeat. The talent on this weapon is really bad. It gives the impression of punishment rather than reward, it is associated with a much greater risk than, for example, Glass Canon, and gives practically nothing interesting in return, only a certain death caused by delayed and virtually impossible to estimate damage. The probability of eliminating the negative effect of this talent (3 kills in 15s) is very low when playing on more difficult levels in the group. On the other hand, the benefit of launching this talent is virtually negligible. I think every PvE player would agree that the lack of any talent would be better than its presence in current form.
I am very disappointed because it is such a great-looking and so unique / hard to get weapon. It needs some love.
This weapon isn't bad if we don't look how to get it
-8 players optimised
-one hour of mission
-1chance per week or 5 raid
-low chance in the chest
This is the hardest weapon to have and he isn't the best
I don't want to have a god weapon that is the must have but a felling of power gained by play the hardest content gived by division
For exemple :
- Accuracy when we fire is increase to 70% for each magasine
When you do a headshot kill you proc tenacity
each headshot give 2 % ( max 40%)of damage reduction for 45 sec
Why this Idea :
This is to create the best solo PVE weapon of this game that bring high damage and high survivability and reward all players that beat the raid 15 times maybe to get the EB
But tenacity also need a good aim to work well so the weapon isn't a god mod

What ever build you tested it with clearly isn't the right one as I use the EB in heroic, legendary and the Raid in the current live version and its very good already, with the buff in tu10 it will be even better as the video above shows
The weapon requires you to get headshots to really be of any good. It has significantly higher recoil without activating Tenacity.
Pretty much a well tuned AR with Damage to Targets Out of Cover and strained is just as powerful if not at times more powerful with Obliterate.
Most people who say the weapon is OP have never actually owned one.
Pretty much what I've said here: https://forums.ubisoft.com/showthrea...1#post15000835

Conclusion: when more than one people says about one thing is wrong, then more likely to be.
Personally, the EB is still fun to play at times, even though I prefer a Police M4 with DTA and Ranger.
I agree though, Tenacity rather feels like a punishment than a favor, I'd have more fun with it if they had used
"Headshot kills grant +100% reload speed & +35% Damage" instead of Tenacity, but I guess that would make us tooooo powerful![]()
I have had the eagle bearer since it was very powerful way back in episode 1 believe it was, they nerfed it and it was still in a strong posistion, now players saying tenacity killed them and works against them. They clearly dont understand that if they didnt have this up they would've died before hand and that its given them a chance to drop a heal of some sort to negate the damage coming. This is something that only experience will help with this issue. You may have a point with some guns with the right talents and moment for them to outshine the eaglebearer at level 40 this wasnt the case at 30. obviously the game has advanced and the devs are trying to even out the damage with the current PTS
That might be the case when you're running with a team that has a dedicated healer, but since they stealth nerfed the Chem Launcher healing to not apply the initial Armor Repair to the player using it, I'd really like to see you heal against that "buff" on your own with 3 more DPS guys in your team that rather care for shooting than healing you.Originally Posted by Wildjamster Go to original post
A talent that just shifts your death a few seconds is not what I'd call a favor, before they removed the reload speed and damge buffs it was at least a high risk, high reward talent, now it's rather high risk only
It's perfectly fine when playing solo though, as you're basically guaranteed to get the kills you need.
