I've been around enough of these gear score games to know that that is the easiest way to bring back player base who have already reached end game content. They did it with the division, diablo you name it. New Loot and higher level loot always brings back the player for a while. It's a smart strategy when you've rolled out new content.

Of course i'm speculating and could be wrong.

Regardless, raid is fun even without the gear for some of us.
Comparing BP to Diablo is a joke. But okay... But if Blizzard was in charge of BP they might mess up too. But their customer service is good.

No no of course they are very different games. I was refering to the gear level concept and the human insatiable need to have the best loot.

@red, he's a PC player. Weapon recoil is fairly easy to control with a mouse. And if a player still needs help, they can download software that will allow macroing a "track down rate" when you click. You can adjust the rate to match the recoil of weapons in any game and simply holding down the fire button will automatically counter vertical recoil.
The point is the team just need to use the ventilation fan only once. But with regular strategy, the team without dmr bug have to use the ventilation fan more than 2 times, which means you need to spend more time

I salute you. For being able to do things faster. And of course for being able to find the way.

But in BP its more time consuming because every 2 levels you need to gamble for new weapons.

In Diablo however. Its not that time consuming unless you want perfect stats equipment.

I have been using almost the same equipment on my Diablo 3 Barbarian since 3 years ago...

Yeah but in Diablo, to play competitive greater rifts you need good rolls on your equipment so it's the constant grind and RNG for that drop.

With BP, any weapon will do. You don't need a perfect rolled GS 300 weapon. You can clear the raid with GS 250 items as it's more about team work and communication that's why my advise is don't need to grind for that level 300 pistol. People who are doing that is most likely because they've set themselves the personal goal to get every item to GS300.

Also I play the raid because of the cooperative fun and not the loot because when the new content comes out, the gear score will be lifted to 500 and the 300 weapons will be useless.

I played the raid for the 3rd time this week (no glitch) and it was a lot of fun (joined a discord channel) it took a few tries to down the titan but you feel a sense of team work achievement when you do. And it wasn't for loot because this was my 3rd time this week (and you don't get loot after the first try)

I guess the raid is not for everyone which is fine just don't play it. but just because you personally don't like it doesn't mean it should be removed from the game for everyone else.
They've scrapped every update to the raid, people have been complaining to no end about crappy gear score mechanics and you think they're going to raise the cap?

And yes, the raid must be removed because its continued presence is a message that says "we're going to try to keep turning GR into an MMORPG". It has to go.

Now, after watching that video and reading some comments about the players accuracy, I have a few questions...

    1. Was the Raid designed with only PC players in mind?

    2. Should the Raid be altered for the console versions, to make it easier to complete with a controller?

I don't think there would be many console players that can counter recoil using a controller, like a PC player can with a mouse. Because of this, I believe Raid bosses on consoles should take more damage, to make them easier to defeat and by extension more fun to play the Raid.
