Its so hard to have any hope anymore unfortunately. I mean with next gen coming out etc...why would they pump money into this game at this point? It will probably be the usual content
    1. New executions
    2. New illustrious outfit
    3. New weapons (most likely not new armor)
    4. Other small things here and there.

It is what it is now. But i mean 4 years is decent

They aren't just milking the game they've been doing TG's one of em being
actual game changing stuff right now we're just waiting for that and the
new heroes for the wu-lin (I know most dislike or like to a degree.)
but even so it's stuff to look forward to at least.

Here's what I personally am pretty sure about will come with the next season:

*New Hero (including several customization options; you know, outfits, weapons and stuff)
*New Battle Pass (again, including lots of stuff, maaaaybe even a slightly overhauled version without 100 Scrap-tiers, but that's speculation)
*New Weapons for all heroes (like every season)
*New Armor for Y1-DLC heroes (pretty much got confirmed on the Y4S1 reveal stream were they showed of the new reskins for Y1-Base and Y3 heroes)
*New Seasonal Event (at least one, but could be more since they said something like "multiple events per season" in the Y4S1 reveal stream)
*New Executions (technically not part of Y4S2, but should drop this week or next week)
*New Arcade/Ranked Rewards (not noticed by everone, but these get expanded every season)
*New Content of the Week (though maybe not each week, sure)

I think this makes for a very exciting and content-packed season. Just my thoughts though.

Oh yeah, and because it's cool to do this, here's some more content based purely of speculation/experience:
*New Map (pretty much every season had at least 1 new map added, with Y4S1 being the only exception that comes to my mind at the moment - this sparks hope for Y4S2)
*Testing Ground changes go live (or maybe another version of Testing Ground with more balanced damage values - but hey, it's just speculation)
*Centurion Rework (Stop the memes. It is coming, but only after last Testing Ground changes go live. Would not make any sense to release it before that, just to fix him again right afterwards)

Hope that helps to lift some spirits up. There's gonna be A LOT next season. Feel it in my guts

    Stay healthy everyone

Ah this is content for you ? What about true balance changes ? Rework of lackluster heroes (which is 80% of the cast btw), etc...
Who cares about armor or weapon if the core of the game is broken ?

They have been speaking about TG changes for a year now btw.

    Seriously...

TG changes for a year now? No they have not lol. TG was only first implemented last fall with the Cent rework TG. Closer to half a year, and the main TG changes people keep talking about have only been discussed since around February I think? Whenever they opened the TG the second time. That happened THIS YEAR. Lol

And yeah, sure that's content. That's stuff the Ubi-Team works on, and that I (and very likely a lot of other players) really enjoy.
Sure, you can complain about this and that and be way too serious about things. But what's the point? I mean, it's not like the game is unplayable or a pain to play. It's fun. My favorite game for almost 2 years now, and I almost regret dropping it after launch and only coming back in 2018.

But to each their own. Have fun, if possible

It is actually unplayable depending on the heroes you main. Not a pain to play? LOL this is the most annoying game I have ever played because of the constant middle finger the balance shoves in your face. It can be fun but it can also be stupid and irritating to the point where many players take month long breaks

After all it only took them 2 months to pump out the first patch on FH after release. Patch in which they buffed the PK, even after she received buffs at the release, which put her in a state of OP which would last for what 1 year, 2 year ? They should dedicate their ressources to fixing the balance and all the bugs that litter the game, and not to cosmetics.

But since cosmetics sell, and players have bad taste overall, they will continue to pump out stupid battle pass.

Ubisoft should release a teaser tomorrow, go into more info next weak and release season 2 in the week thereafter.

    I have spoken.

Given the atmosphere and the delays hyping by teasing would be convoluted. This is not the time for marketing games but straight forward conversations.
The community has, for the most part, shown patients and understanding in the delays due to how the virus has effected their software company work flow. It would seem out of place for Ubisoft to then not return the favor by being as forthcoming as possible.
