    [TEST] Strikker Battlegear gear set test.

    Hello There,
    Just some thoughts after testing Striker Battlegear gear set on PTS.
    One of the most iconic sets in Division 1, used to be very challenging (aim based) but rewarding set (damage + healing)
    What's left from original Division 1 Striker ? Sadly, just the name.

    First of all, i have tested the set without Armor piece that increase the number of stacks from 50 to 100. Reason for that is simply, because striker no longer applies any healing, and medkits are no longer instant - feels like unbreakable has become meta in 90% of the PVP builds. So any additional healing is welcome - therefore unbrakable is the nr 1 choice.

    1 piece bonus - nothing.
    2 piece bonus - 15% weapon handling
    3 piece bonus - 15% rate of fire


    Data:
    Maximum stack count - 50
    Stacks lost per second - 1
    Stack lost per missed shoot - 2
    Dmg per 1 stack - 0,65% - this is according to patchnotes (information from the gear itself is 1% per stack)

    Outcome:
    Perfect scenario:
    50 stacks x 0,65% = 32,5 % dmg increase - with 100% acuracy (Versatile gives 35% for 10 seconds with cooldown of 5)

    Optimistic scenario:
    Accuracy: let say 80% - which imho is to high for an average PVP player.
    50 bullets x 80% accuracy = 40 landed shoots (not stacks)
    Because we missed 10 bullets we lost 20 stacks (2 stacks per 1 missed shoot)
    Most ARs have mag size of 50 and average RPM is ~750, so it takes arround 4 seconds to empty the 50 bullet mag. - we lost another 4 stacks.

    Adding everything up:
    50 x 80% = 40
    -20 (missed stacks form missed shoots)
    -4 (stacks lost per second)
    = 16 stacks x 0,65 dmg = 10,4 dmg increase.

    Summary:
    In perfect scenario with 100% accuracy at 50 stacks, while using AR and unbrakable chest we get 32% dmg increase, which is not bad.
    In reality, 10-11% dmg increase, in my opinion is not worth loosing backpack tallent,. 4 gear attributes and 1 brand set bonus (Gear Set bonuses starts with 2 piece)

    I hope my math is correct xD

    By the way, already overpowered shields (full or half protection + dmg buff) getting additional healing with Bullwark set.
    You could transfer the healing over to Striker.
    Please, show some love for Striker ! let us be rewarded for using our aim.

    Yeah, really useful analysis with real numbers. Thank you.
    Striker currently only has two uses, sell its pieces for credits and fill the recal library. Even the PTS version of striker is amongst the worst gear. I do not even share it at the end of a mission because I would be ashamed.
    I see only to viable options.
    1. Remove it from the game entirely: it is been months since WONY and this gear set is underperforming in every single aspect. Nobody uses or will use it, so nobody will miss it when it is gone.
    2. Make it powerful once and for all.

    I think only way to get striker worth is get stack 2% per bullet and miss bullet or every seconds lose 1% or 2% and give extra healing like div1 striker classifield

    Instead, they buffed shields.
