Immersion Miod Suggestions (Not for faint hearted)

Hi please see below a few things that could make the game more realistic. Just by adding options and tweaking the ammo system the players should be able to feel that there is no shortcut.

    Ammo System :
-There should be a system of reusable clip and a limit on the ammo quantity you can take which depends on the class you take. Eg. 3 ASR clips maximum. (The option would allow you to chose how many clips per class.). The only way a clip can be picked up is if the weapon of the AI is the same as yours.

-The reload speed should be slower and when the character picks up ammo, it does not refill the used clips but a round box (Where the maximum limit would be one of the options of the immersion mod. The reason is the clips should be refilled manually (Slowly during a fight and faster off a fight and automatically from the box when entering a bivouac.

-The weapon attachements should be changeable to up to two chosen out of the bivouac and unlimited in a bivouac.

-The food (The one which increase regen speed.) should increase the regen speed from 0 to 10percent and not be completely blocked. therefore, the health should not be stuck at lowest point. (For those who dont use seringes)

-The item loadout should be choosable only form the bivouacs.
And the walking running speed of the Character should be reduced depending on the weitght of the equipement & Items number of clips carried. (For eg. 2 or 3 grenades make a difference. 2.or 3 attachements, how many clips you choose to take with you, the number of a,mo in the box from which you can choose the maximum bullet to sort out the auto loot actions.)

-There should also be no fast travel unless in a bivouac.

    - Finaly, in a match making. The players should be set to the options chosen by the host.( If well received.)

I have a few more ideas but making the player feel like they can choose to equip before doing something would increase the role play.

    Authentic mode

This sounds like a great idea but should be a separate gameplay mode from the modes that we already have and should be called (Authentic Mode).

If the Ubisoft developers Implement things like this they will more than likely be able to satisfy the casual and the hardcore Ghost Recon gamers.

I am assuming that when you say clip, you are actually referring to "magazine" (STANAG or PMAG doesn't matter).
While your idea is nice, that (example?) number is too low.
I have seen real soldiers carrying 6~8 extra magazines, you don't want to run out of ammo if things suddenly turn bad and you can't resupply...

Indeed and that is why you can choose how many magazines you can take if they implement the weight system.. Even real soldiers will tell you that 8 full mags are heavy to carry. This way those who want to play stealth will think twice before going full.

I'd like to see an option to reclaim ammo lost on reload. I like the idea that if you reload and your mag is not empty then the bullets in it are gone but there should be some way to also reclaim those bullets. Some action (i.e. looting a body) where you can recover ammo from discarded mags. If your going to go for realism then you need to offer some means for an operator to not be forced to leave behind ammo just because they opted to replace the mag before it was empty. Perhaps some action that takes time nuts be performed where the operator loads all empty mags from some ammo source and then the player can quickly swap out the mags until he/she has used all at which point they must then perform the action to re-fill those mags.
