TU 10 changes will make PvE too easy -- constructive suggestions

Massive - per the latest SOTG, you explicitly stated that you wanted to make the game more "fun" but NOT make it too "easy", as you specifically stated that you are happy with the difficulty at the current point in time.

However, your proposed changes in TU10 indicate that you are NOT meeting this objective in this regard. The net sum of these proposed changes effectively makes weapon damage higher, skill damage higher, status effects stronger (both in duration and in damage), etc., etc.. 95+% of EVERYTHING is getting a major buff, and it's far TOO MUCH.

If you intend to go forward with these changes, I implore you to consider INCREASING the difficulty of the Heroic and Legendary missions, for otherwise, you are going to turn Heroic into Hard, in terms of difficulty.

I fully support your game to be more "fun", but you should not decimate the higher difficulty levels, which retains the more active player base, and who have put many hours into improving our builds, optimizing the synergies, and theorycrafting properly.

Naturally, everybody gets excited when you buff everything, but lowering the bar across the board is not the proper approach. You may have increased player activity for a few weeks, but once everything becomes too easy, people will leave and play another game, and you will lose a valuable opportunity to retain those players.

I strongly urge you to either reduce these buffs and/or increase the difficulty in Heroic and Legendary.

    Thank you.

fun not mean impossible if you think legendary its to easy then go to play pvp
personally i think for having fun i should be able to play any difficulty mode without dying 10000 times
i believe that difficulty modes should be for co-op or solo players wich should be able to complete without struggling to much
if you want intense then go on pvp or raid ...
personally i play for fun and its a way to relax myself after a hard day at work ... so how can this be relaxing if i cant complete something without dying lots of times?

I mean part of this rebalancing is due how ******** most things felt at higher level, heroic felt that everything was bulletsponge unless you were maxed out in crits or using the M1A, weapons were lacking punch and gear sets were both underwhelming and bugged (looking at you striker and negotiator), many of these buffs are needed so higher difficulity content doesn't become stale meta we have in the live game that is not even worth touching.

    1) That's why there is a PTS.
    2) As they have mentioned in patch notes, some things got extremely large values intentionally, so players can test it out. If it's becomes extremely strong, it will be adjusted (like headhunter and foundry bulwark now, for example). If it's OKAY with current values, then it's fine.

No, that's absolutely not correct. You should NOT be able to play "any difficulty mode" if you have terrible equipment, builds, talents, skills, etc. That's why there is Hard or Challenging mode. If you want to play Heroic, you need to have played a bit more and be more skilled, etc. The current TU10 changes go too far. I really do understand that you want to play casually, and I am not saying that Legendary is too easy, but I am saying that these changes will materially reduce the difficult content in the game. There is a way for us to naturally coexist together, by separating the difficulty level, with an appropriate degree of difficulty separting the game modes. That's my point.

Remember when people cried Division 1 was too easy and patch 1.3 solved that......it also chased 80% or more of the user base away. The last thing Massive needs to do is make the difficulty harder, you want harder, turn on all the directives and stop using broken mechanics to make the game easier.

OP you seem to forget not everyone lives and breaths Division 2.

The AI right now are in a laughable state, even on PTS, they're broken beyond belief and nobody can sit and say they aren't. It's not fun for players when AI has 100% accuracy and unlimited resources to kill you and you are so undergeared it isn't even funny. Right now Division 2 agents have garbage for gear while the AI has state of the art gear, it's a unfair fight. There are broken mechanics players are using and claiming the game is "easy" to make it harder....ever try playing without abusing broken mechanics? Try it sometime and then tell me it's too easy.

As of right now the game on the PTS is not to easy. The enemies are overturned so it’s hard to tell. For us to judge balance we need the NPCs to be tuned as they are in 9.1.

For me the new talents and Gears set are balanced ( at 80%) for heroic and Legendary with 4 people and tu9 IA behavior

Honeslty Yesterday i had so much fun to test strong Gear set or new weapon and Legendary with tu9 IA is still hard

This is important now to give the fun to the players reward the gaming time

You need to keep in mind that these Gear set will be in raid 2 or hours of farm

The new exotic for the raid will be with maybe 20 try before get regulus or the double barrel so much time invested to get these very good weapons

Immagine for a player make 25 Legendary get the bighorn and says ohw its very Bad . Why this player will continue to play at division if the hardest mission give basic stuff

(Sorry for my english i'm french)

Completely disagree it won’t make too easy the Bulwark Shield is broken but other than that sounds good

Did you only read the patch note or really tested the TU10 ? Because i can tell you the boost are just not enough, the meta will stay m1a and MG5 will stay the 2 dps weapons and nothing is changing.

The weapons balancing is so broken that these damage up are just TOO small. M1A base damage is still around 200K, the mk17 is around 170, now apply all the multiplier effects to damage and you end with at least 100K less for the mk17. So no one will play it. Wasn't play, still will not. Don't complaign about changes that change nothing.
