The new brand feels extremely underwhelming at first glance.
I can't see anyone using a set of 3 of these.
While The first 2 set buffs might help a little to an already existing build (to maximize a specific weapon type even further.
There are still way better options to pick from.
Honestly, Damage To Health is worthless, i really don't understand how this buff even exists.
The armor consists aprox. out of 95% of any enemie's health. (correct me if i'm wrong)
Once the armor is gone, enemies basically die immediately, since by then the TTK is already extremely low.
So even a 100% Damage Buff To Health doesn't really do much of a difference, unless on enemies without armor.
But since there are basically no enemies without armor in end-game content, this effect is absolutely worthless.
Would personally increase the effects to 8~10%
Damage To Health could be easily buffed to 50~100% just to actualy feel a difference.
So overall i would rate this set as mediocre.
Will most likely only be used as a 1-2 addition at max on an existing build.

This gear is missing its name ?!
Instead of having a name it shows the actual item description, and while it offers a named-item effect. The current "name" isn't yellow.
Wonder what the rest of the community thinks about this.
Sidenote:
Honestly... I expected a new skill or armor set since skill and armor builds are currently absolutely non-existent.
Yet we get another set for weapon damage?!
I really don't get it.
Damage to health is very good on certain NPCs and the black tusk robots, dogs, etc. Razorback weakpoints, anything basically that doesn't have the armour bars above them. I use AR's in legendary missions as secondary weapon and they work very well on heavies and the robot stuff.
Skill builds are very good now, people are now using 4 skill builds in legendary missions. No need for dps at all.
Thought there was some new skill gearsets and shield ones? or are these the Raid exclusive ones?
Pair 3 of these with the Petrov gloves, and AR and I think it could be pretty good.
Think the 2nd and 3rd pieces should be 10% each though instead of 5%
Oh i didn't know that about the damage to health.
I expected dogs also count as armor, since you can actualy shoot their armor off.
That's a little bit confusing to say the least.
If that's the case, then it's not useless.
Thanks for the info.
Although i would still say that it should be more than just 5%, especialy for health.
It's only 1 single gear set buff.
And yes, there's a new skill gear set.
But it doesn't amplify skill damage at all.
The only new thing i see for skill damage are 2 named weapons, and that's it. (bound to 2 specific weapon types you might not like)
My bud is a skill build main and struggles with having fun in the game simply because skill damage builds are so extremely underwhelming.
4~5m damage per artillery hit every 3~5 seconds is absolutely nothing when compared to 3~5m per rifle shot every ~0.5seconds.
It's only decent if enemies are close together to damage multiple enemies at once.
Other than that it's absolutely underwhelming.
I've been experimenting with skill damage builds too but always ended up deleting them because they weren't even coming close to a full DPS weapon build.
I'm not saying it's impossible to run a legendary mission, it's just not coming close to what i can achieve with a weapon build.
I've tried this brand set with new named AR (Mechanical Animal) and new named Rifle (Harmony), alongside striker drone. I've used vest, backpack and kneepads and in this combination have a very good synergy, both weapons adding bonus damage for drone, and drone adding bonus damage for rifle. But yes, need to compensate with something else, like Ceska, Grupo, and/or Fenris/Overlord, depending on which weapon you use most..
Imho, bonuses should be:
5% Weapon damage
8% damage to armor
15% damage to health.
In this case those buffs will compensate the loss of other 1pc bonuses plus it won't be broken with Gear sets, since you have only two slots (or even 1 with an exotic). Additionally, damage to health will become viable and effective against dogs and tanks even more, and won't break anything against basic NPCs or Players.

tried it but kinda felt not worth it
i used a gs piece for CHD and a ceska for CHC instead of 3rd piece waler with a coyote mask and a piece of fenris
made a not-bad one i think
