I am faced with the same predicament.
I have created tickets to growtopia team. However, I am sad because I doubt they even read the contents.
I am here to let you guys know... and perhaps encourage that an internal audit should be carried out.
I have just faced a ban (permament) after 5 years of playing and abiding by the rules at all times.
Unfortunately, many players came to my world using 3rd party program. I tried my best to disallow these players and also reported many to the developers.
For something that the developers cannot eradicate (players using 3rd party software) it seems that they pushed the fault to innocent players.
Wishing for a better GT team.
