I’ve put a lot of thought about some game features that would make the next ghost recon or maybe even a overhaul of the ghost war a lot more enjoyable/fun for fans of the “tactical” genre.

Definitely a lot more maps

Removal of the entire class system. Instead of having all these classes and trying to balance them out, especially in a ghost war/PvP setting, seems like it would be much better to have ghost war completely separate from the campaign with its own progression system/rewards/aesthetics.
Instead of having classes and then perks, have a system set up where player can customize their own operator to have a skill perk, weapon perk, and specialization perk, so that way players can arrange their own set of perks based on their own play styles. For example, instead of a assault class with extra health, in the specialization perk slot allow for players to equip more health, but maybe in the skill slot, instead of a gas grenade they also want to equip the high end rounds like the engineer has, and maybe they play assault style but like to use the smg, so they get a smg handling weapon perk.
Players can customize their operator based on how they like to play and better prioritize perks based on weapons they prefer, skills they prefer, and overall play style.
Just seems like it would be a lot more “tactical” to also restrict the operator to 1 primary weapon and 1 side arm but the side arm could be a shorty shotgun, 500 magnum, full auto pistol etc.
I could see a team of ghost war kind of planning ghost war matches before hand for different styles like a medical support class that isn’t so limited, or a tech perk that allowed you to steal a downed enemies intel and briefly show the positions of 1 or more enemy players like there was in future soldier. Or the tech class being able to plant the bomb or have a gameplay mode like capture the flag but it’s “steal the intel”.
Stealth perks that combined could have a truly suppressed stealth style at the cost of health and range that is significant.

Just let players completely customize their operators so they can best choose and prioritize how best their style of play comes across in ghost recon. No choosing a class with pros and cons but letting the player best choose what they are in different categories from, health/speed/injury resistance etc to weapons and being efficient in the weapon types of their choice, snipers, assault or smg weapons etc. Like actually having some sort of LMG perks

Get rid of the surveillance system. Let it be a perk.

Allow the dragging of down teammates be much faster. Allow the dragged player to use a pistol like in army of two. Super cool feature.

Allow CQC to be more like assassinations in halo or a fight like in battlefield3/4. Nothing is more satisfying than watching your enemy watch his character helpless in a death animation knowing he got ghosted.

If I forgot to mention this earlier. 1 primary weapon. Just 1. This would make players really prioritize and think about how best to approach ghost war rather than having everyone equipped with a sniper rifle.

A hardcore ghost war mode with a limited HUD and ammo. No mini map, no one can be marked. No items scattered across the map.

Truly silent weapons. The crossbow in wildlands was awesome. That and a compound bow would be super fun.

More maps. More maps with less clutter that minimize the chances of players getting stuck. Nothing is more annoying than getting stuck on some detail like a plank or garbage bag on the ground and not being able to assault or flee due to catch a corner the way.

Body armor that isn’t aesthetic. Would be cool to customize the armor, as almost everyone runs around with a plate carrier on, but would be cool to also have a perk of more armor and when putting on a helmet, shoulder pads, leg armor etc, this would have effect on stats as well. Would be cool to further customize armor in this way.

Gillie suits. Please bring them back. They were super cool in wildlands. Might even be cool to allow the customization of that as well between different materials and colors.

Let drones be a tech perk but allow for different types from medic, assault, to maybe even being able to emp and a “hacking drone”. Like maybe have a specialization perk for a drone and skill for hacking that allows you to sneak your drone up on another player,, steal his intel without being downed or rather than expose yourself, hack the downed player.

Smaller ping graphic... a small arrow pointing down rather than a big bright box.

More realistic cover like the ability to shoot through wood walls, not just glass.
Dynamic entry through windows, breaking glass and being able to increase the amount of ways players can flank.

That’s about all of my unpolished PvP suggestions.
Would like to see what y’all think.

For PvE suggestions in breakpoint.
Backpacks that have a water tube like a camelback bag or just the camel back itself, allow drinking from that rather than a magical plastic canteen. That’d be a quality of life animation I think that would just be cool.

Ghost Mode!!!!

Better customization options like the ability to put on knee pads, elbow pads, thigh rigs, a hoodies that use the hood! Gillie suit hoods and helmets!

Weapon attachments that work and have use other than stats. Like a flash light. A bipod. Offset mini red dot or iron sights.

These are just some ideas that in my opinion would make this already awesome game even more enjoyable.
I used to be in game development myself on a couple of triple A titles so I can appreciate the work and effort that goes into making gaming software but with breakpoint kind of falling short in so many areas, types of changes like this or something to see in a future title would be much appreciated.
