Well I've been away (not literally, I just hated the game) and I've been playing all day....I've enjoyed it so much that I've bought the season pass...and I've just spent the last hour messing around with another player like me just going mad and driving everywhere...it's been total bliss!!
So I'm glad I came back it seems a lot has changed and I've enjoyed it..
Meanwhile back on the forum you are all moaning like I was over a year ago.....lol...go play GTAV for a year or the very buggy Division 2....then you will appreciate The Crew 2!!!!!
There's a Ferrari in the Season Pass that's amazing and for your Tron lightcycles you can ride them in GTAV online..! I recently watched Tron:Legacy, it wasn't half bad....Originally Posted by FOG.Smokebeer Go to original post
But I have a trusty Golf GTI and Touareg Raid VW both of which I can't live without, they are throwbacks to Crew 1 but I love them...
The graphics and weather seem to be somehow better than last time I played...have they been upgraded or is it my imagination?
If it ain't broke, don't fix it...Originally Posted by FOG.Smokebeer Go to original post
Literally NO game developer/company ever follows this advice...
The result? A more and more broken product. If something is broken, it is NORMAL human nature to fix it, and NO, duck tape and plywood is NOT a viable solution.
Ah I'm XBox and it looks great...Just got my Koenigsegg or however you spell it...can't play without it...Originally Posted by FOG.Smokebeer Go to original post
I bought the Gold Edition of the game waaay back near when it was released. I beat everything on "Hard" when the game first came out, and I found that even on that skill level I was replaying races too many times to pass them for the game to be fun anymore to me. Every once in a while, I boot up the game, try a couple of races on Ace, which mostly are geared toward much better players than I will ever be or aspire to be in this game, and I shut it off just as fast. Don't get me wrong, I found the game overall to be satisfying enough to be worth what I paid for it. I got about three weeks of a lot of enjoyment and some frustration when I first played the game, so I am not complaining. Its just not for me. I will say that I definitely got my money's worth, but other than booting the game up every 6 or 8 months for a race or two on Hard, this game is not designed for players like me, and I accept that.
With "players like you" I assume you're not much of a grinder?Originally Posted by ChiroVette Go to original post
Eh, I would say neutral really. It depends on the amount of grind and what you wish to get out of grinding.
For instance, earning money in TC2 is grindy, but still acceptable. Now compare that to GTA V, for example.
And to be honest, grinding is the only way for me to be able to sink hours into this game at this point. Cruising or setting times in events/skills is off-limits because of the darn weather.
