    Statement on Combat Changes in Event Playlist

    Hey Warriors,

    You may have noticed that this week’s throwback playlist had an extra throwback: the earliest version of the February Testing Grounds changes was activated in Carousel of Ragnarok. This was not intentional and these changes will be deactivated starting at 4:00pm ET / 20:00 UTC today.

    We know a lot of you have been waiting for an update on the Testing Grounds changes. We’ve been working hard these past few months on refining the Fight System Improvements: more damage tweaks, Feats balancing, addressing some light spam issues and more.

    We thank you for all the great feedback you've given us and we look forward to sharing more with you in Season 2.

    Sry for the hate ubiInsulin I know the dev team is trying their hardest to make the game better.

    I'm a very passionate person I'd think everyone feels the same of this game we all want this game
    to be better we just don't know what the devs are thinking at least one dev should at least communicate
    with us about what the future is for the game we all cherish passionately.

    I know your job is to communicate with the community but it is also a good PR move
    to also have at least a dev talk to us about what's being planned and what is being taken
    out mechanic wise.

    If it's easy enough to implement the changes to accidentally add them in an event mode, can you not just let us play the TG the way it was in duel and dom while you guys continue working?

    I've been playing your game since it launched, and I've spent a fair amount of money on you guys over the years. I've spent over 2000 hours on for honor, more than any game I've ever played before.

    I feel a little ripped off with the current state of the game. I was consistently making diamond rank, and I am rep 250+. Now, I can't even handle an hour of this game before I'm mad enough to break stuff. It's so incredibly broken right now.

    That being said, the TG changes really brought back the skill based feel of the game. I couldn't care less about my performance under those changes because it was FUN REGARDLESS. I didn't feel cheesed, cheated, or bullied like I do 90% of the time in the current live game.

    Currently, there is way too much little risk big reward (strong heroes), and big risk little reward (weak heroes). It should be little risk little reward, and big risk big reward. Better, stronger moves need to be risky. The stronger the move, the riskier it should be.
