I made a thread earlier titled graphic optimization.
Upon reflection I realized that I was a bit vague about the request for improvement.
So I'm making this thread for a better understanding of said request.
I went back to Breakpoint's predecessor Wildlands to see how it was able to handle lod and draw distance in comparison.
Currently in breakpoint (playing on an xbox one s) grass, foliage and landscap textures appear inconsistently between 60 and 90 meters from the player character.
What I found in wildlands(playing on an xbox one s) was that grass and foliage as well as landscap textures can be seen as far out as 150 meters from the player character as well as in the drone camera view.
Using the player beacon feature I was able to measure the draw distance of different drone camera zooms.
One zoom of the drone camera was able to see grass and foliage out to 250 meters away.
The second drone camera zoom was able to pick up grass, foliage and landscapes 350 meters out.
If down the line in future title updates breakpoint could be improved to these lod and draw distances, for these specific details.
I believe it would greatly help the game's look and feel better to play in.
Thank you for reading.
