So I was in the middle of exploring just doing challenges when I'm disconnected from the servers and receive two error codes trying to get back in. I close the application and re-launch to be met with the initial start up menu of immersive and regular gameplay and to create a character so I go ahead thinking it's just forgot what to load and my character will be at the select screen right?! WRONG! Just the newly created character with 3 minutes playtime... I'd sunk 55 hours into my character, got to gear level 201 and now it's just gone?! no reply from the Ubisoft support e-mail and live chat is conveniently unavailable...Any ideas would be greatly appreciated

This now takes us to seven players counting the replies here in this thread, myself, another post about 8 posts down from this thread & two other people who have made similar posts over the past few months.
Been keeping a eye out specifically for this issue.
Don’t expect Ubisoft to be of any assistance or for them to reimburse us in some form.
This was my reply to the person who wrote of the same issue in another thread a few threads down from this one on the general discussion forum.
Same thing happened to myself a few months back on a second character I had made.
That character as well as my main character was GS 300 & I had 515 hours invested in the second character.
In short after submitting a support ticket I was told to contact “live support” due to covid-19 restrictions.
I never did this why? WTF is live support going to do?
Ended up creating another character so technically my third character which is now GS 297 with 118 hours.
Still need boots & a pistol to hit GS 300 again.
Main character currently has 524 hours so at one stage my alt had more hours than my main.
Live service model with breakpoint being a live service game (online requirement) is a fcking joke.
Basically we’re all playing at our own risk at losing a character at any stage.
CM‘S feel free to acknowledge this thread or pass this along to support... yea right :/

I've also lost a character in the past, but if you check out the support forums, it actually looks like they are trying to help. Seems like there was a specific event in the last 24 hours that caused this, and Ubi is aware of it.
@All, if you've lost a character today and have not yet, go to the support forums and get to posting.
Provide them with the affected save slot. And if you can recall, let them know what the last mission you completed was.
