Well, that's what I'm thinking.Originally Posted by Dani-3009 Go to original post
"Subtracts" over max value or doesn't count over max value that is 60% and doesn't go below that.
A BIG difference.
everything is a bug for some even when it isn't..
Bad communication, badly done UI, yes. Bug no.
This issue of the CHC overflow taking away from the whole is being investigated. But the hard cap of 60% is intended.Originally Posted by CassiousCloud Go to original post
As for the OP, the rest of the thread has been pretty thorough. Generally speaking hitting 50 - 60% CHC is your best bet for an overall higher DPS.
I just suggested it because it's been reported as a bug..It's not something that is consistently happening every time you crit, but does happen..Originally Posted by westyren Go to original post
I didn't send in the ticket..it's just something I noticed once I found out about it..
I posted my formula.- so you could have seen that xDOriginally Posted by Deltikcz Go to original post
So look at it and you would see the bonus damage is 1.2x --> 120% crit hit damage
Cap itself is bugged. Stop looking at the ******g stat screen for a sec.Originally Posted by Dani-3009 Go to original post
We're talking about actual CHC figures when you count it manually.
As I have mentioned earlier, no one is saying you can achieve more than 60%.
But if you pass over 60%, the cap mechanic messes it up and lowers your actual CHC.
I will post the links here as I find them. There's a video and two more threads about this issue.
I'm 2% over the cap. so that means my actual CHC is 58%Originally Posted by CassiousCloud Go to original post
Yes. My point exactly.Originally Posted by Trep06 Go to original post
Original intention for this mechanic is to give you 60% CHC at all times no matter how much over you are from the cap.
But apparently it isn't working as intended currently. Hope it gets fixed soon.
I understand but your formula is simply wrong this is not how it works. It means that from 10 shots 4 will be 1.2 and 6 will be 1. If you add 10%CHC it means 5 will be 1.2 and 5 will be 1 . If you add 20%CHD it will be 4 shots 1.4 and 6 will be 1. (So it is 5x1.2 + 5x1 vs 4x1.4 + 6x1 and in that case crit hit dmg would be better choice)
