Hi everyone, I had this issue with Origins last year and up until recently I decided to play the game once again after finishing it. So just to jump straight into the point, last year the solution to my problem which was the game being stuck on the splash screen was that I had to install Origins in the same default place where uplay was installed in. I tried moving Origins over to my C disk with no avail, so what actually fixed it in the end was, I uninstalled uplay completely, uninstall Origins BUT I did not uninstall or remove any other games I had on, you can easily scan for games on uplay later on. So I did a fresh install of uplay again and by default it goes into the harddisk which has my operating system windows 10 on, which would be c/program86 etc etc. After uplay is installed hit install on Origins and choose your language, after that just let it install in the directory that it has chosen by default, it should be in the directory in which uplay is located.
Keep in mind that this is a possible solution to the problem, no guarantees.
My specs were at the time and currently are:
i7-8700k
16GB DDR4 2666
Z370 motherboard
Palit GTX1080
Good luck and hope it helps.
