Is this game Worth coming back to yet?

    Hello Agents,
i quickly left this game after WT 5 released. but a new expansion is out and they have had roughly a year to work on the hunk of **** that was release TD2.

So my question is.. Is this game worth coming back too or is it still the same old hunk of **** for 30$ more?

There's a fair amount of story and leveling content to do. Gathing up items to fill out your recalibration library, and collecting level 40 gear to complete a few builds is also a decent amount of content.

But honestly, this is only worth about $10 right now. I'd wait until june to see what happens with Title Update 10, the rebalance of difficulty, the raid, and the new gear sets and exotics before dropping more than that. Wait for a sale.

Not until June (TU10). Maybe it will on sale then.

Well from the tone of your post you have already made your mind up so what's the point of the thread.

Well it seems to me that A LOT of the negativity you hear about this game is because there is a dedicated player base that actually cares about the future of this franchise and the state of the current game but all the rest of the negativity is warranted. It's got a ton of issues and systems that are fundamentally flawed but even in the face of that it stands up well to other games that are similar and there is still a ton of worthwhile content to play. The majority of the problems seem to kick in when entering the end-game cycle.

The biggest problem of all seems to be that the developers are totally out of touch. Its as if they rely too much on data from selective sources and they have not experienced what its like for a dedicated SHD agent playing this game. Some of this could very well be blamed on the Covid-19 situation but too much of it is the same shortsighted decisions we see that seem to come from the Ubisoft and haphazard changes we've come to see from Massive.

Everyone that currently only plays to collect backpack trophies (sigh) and grind it out for the chance to find an item with a 0.1%+ improvement and/or to PVP/DZ.

When the new raid comes out most of the people non-stop complaining will be first in line because everyone still around WANTS this game to be what it has the potential to be.

I would say it is worth it to buy the DLC but it wouldn't hurt to possibly wait till a sale.

The WONY expansion end game is in some ways almost like playing another game.

Is it worth $30. Yes. If you play more than 3 hours then you got your money back.

Is it worth investing tons of time playing it when you could be playing something else. I dunno.

The expansion wasn't the most enjoyable (my opinion) I finished levelling up from 30-40 and have only returned to the expansion (NY) to see if theY have fixed the last SHD cache bug, but so far in the last 4-6 weeks it hasn't been fixed.

I rarely even go to NY now. When I do play I stay in DC.

There's a lot of stuff broken and unbalanced, but somehow I keep coming back.
