    For Honor error 05020000

For a while now, For Honor seems to crash almost every time i enter a match, or during a match. the loading times are also awfully long. Every time the game crashes i get the same message: An error occured: Cannot start game. It seems some files are broken. please let steam/uplay verify your installation directory/ game cache. [05020000]. I have tried verifying the integrity a dozen times, i reinstalled the game mulitple times, and i even reset my entire pc just for it to crash again. i have looked for this error code, but there doesn't seem to be a fix.

    Hi Uncle_Jerry!

When did you notice this start happening?
Where there any changes made before it started? (Hardware change/game update/etc)

Can you go through these steps here and let us know if the same issue is still occurring.

No changes were made before this issue started. I had already tried the fixes multiple times, with no improvement. It started happening about 3 weeks ago now.

If you're still having the same issue after going through the steps I advised in my last reply, can you please set a case up on our support site
When you do, can you please upload text copies of your DXDiag and MSInfo files so we can look deeper in to this.
