    Same problem here. Since I cancelled my Uplay+ subscription I can't play my Black Flag (Standard) Steam version anymore

    Cool to see that this thread has completely died... I'm having the same problem for weeks. Has there been any progress to resolve the problem? I'm obviously not buying a season pass since it might not work. I also can't return the game since I spent too many hours on it. And I can't use all the features even though I paid full price.
