    RNG is killing me

I've been stuck for MONTHS with 5/6 classy striker pieces (the only set i truly want to play) , in the mean time i managed to complete SEVEN other sets i dont give a flying f*** about , with so many spare parts for them , but for the love of god i've never seen that ******* striker vest even ONCE

I'll keep playing because i love this game but **** like this makes it infuriating sometimes

My 9k Stamina Striker is by far my most favorite build but yeah I hear ya it look me like a month to finally get a striker backpack but it was well worth the effort ...if you use it correctly it friggen melts everything

Such is the luck of RNG. UBI states that Global Events will be making a comeback. When that happens, hit the GE hard.

It sounds like you have it in your mind that it is the only good set. Depending on what you do in the game, there are often other sets far better. I have two accounts, each with 4 characters that have all 14 gear sets. Only one character needs a little more optimizing. But, at 3.5k hours, I should... Anyway, I didn't like Tactician when I first built it. I didn't like D3, etc. But, after getting bored with the game, I decided to try various sets that I hadn't played much. I also created a lot of mixed sets with a Ninja bag. When I did that, I found a ton of new builds and ways to play. Now, D3 and Tac are my go-to if needing to stay alive is the goal. And, they are about polar opposites in how you play them.

Don't let me lead you astray. Striker is a very good set. It is probably my 4th or 5 favorite set depending on the activity. With it, I have a 9k Stam build. But, I also have extra pieces to go clear up to 9k F/A if I want to go glass cannon. Conversely, a lot of people love Predator. Even when specializing it to get right to 9k stam, I still find it much lower in the pack than for most for me. Solo I get along with it, but in a group, people constantly finish off my kills so I never get health-on-kill so end up struggling to stay alive.

I guess my point is don't get focused on one set. There are a probably 8 solid sets, a couple more that are good, but maybe a little situational. Throw in the Ninja bag, and use your imagination. I've got a mixed ELE Tac/Final Measure build that I love for the missions like Warrengate where they spam you with grenades. Or, how about a hybrid healer for Resistance. Use a couple of Tac pieces with your Reclaimer build. You'll still have the perks of 4 piece reclaimer, but you can use the extra skill haste that Tac offers and use seekers/sticky for offensive damage. How about a full electronics Nomad? You have a little more survivability than Tac with the 2nd life (solo) plus your sig skill cools off quickly. This has turned into a longer post already, but just try out what the game has to offer. Refrain from watching all the videos out there of people who say this is the only build or this other one, etc. Try them out. That's half the fun of the game.

You will get it. After trashing every TAC piece i got during global events i decided i would put a classy TAC together and ran the boss loop several times a day across 4 characters to get it. Took a few weeks but gave me purpose and was fun.
