Writing all this stuff about centurion literally takes more time than learning how to beat him 100%.Originally Posted by LostDarknight Go to original post
1. Don't be near walls.
2. Never risk being hit by charged heavy pins.
3. Reaction dodge/parry on orange (since they are so slow, you may even take your beloved bathroom breaks between noticing a jab and dodging it).
If you lose to the current centurion, there is literally nothing to blame but yourself. Of course, it is your right to don't get better and keep losing to one of the worst heroes in the game, but it is hilarious how you still try to find excuses.
Yeah in a 1v1 cent is easy and everything he lands on you is your own fault, but in 4v4 it is ridiculously easy to help set him up for his cut scene. Much like how it's easy to set up shamans bite.Originally Posted by Goat_of_Vermund Go to original post
Yeah but then again where are your teammates? (Not saying that Cents cutscenes is good)Originally Posted by LightUpTheEyes Go to original post
But all it really takes to prevent that is a light attack or a quick bash.
Teammate died from cut scene right before you got to him probably. If there is an enemy teammate next to cent who sets it up for him and gets you. It's an instant death.Originally Posted by Gaser. Go to original post
Pretty much every zone has a wall close. One mistake shouldn't give so much punish. Not every Cent is bad. Watch some youtubers they still beat people with Cent. One parry stun OOS worh 65 damage is a lot imo.
Also his third feat throwing knife (sorry if I'm wrong) 24 damage into 2 heavies is a lot. In 4v4 is instant death. It also negates revenge.
Yes it's easy to parry charged heavy but on problem in 4v4 Cent will be on the side out of your camera one charged heavy boom death or dash attack same.
Current Cent is one dimensional and not very strong but in 4v4 there is some fundamental problems but not just Cent few others.
His strenghts are very easy to negate with some positioning. For example, he should be the main target, you may external the other ones. You may also just run, he has no chase tools, and he is quite slow. You wouldn't engage a Peacekeeper in a 1v1 with her Sharpen Blade and Fear Itself on, or attack a Kensei inside his smokebomb in mid. Cent has his strenght too, but unlike Kensei, he sucks in everything else.Originally Posted by Erhanninja Go to original post
Youtubers are usually far better than avarage players, they usually outplay them (and if a game goes very badly, they don't have to put it out).
Man that is only for the new players c'mon. I have a year with this game, but two months is enough to understand that cent is very limited, unidimentional and predictable.Originally Posted by LostDarknight Go to original post
That is if you have the compromise of getting better.
The first times I played against him yes, I hated him that custscene is obnoxious . Now is only anodine, sometimes he can aid in ganks if I locked another one but him. 90% of cents are crap.
Now about the Pugio feat yes good cents will use it, I have been killed with Pugio followed by a heavy, by the exceptional cent that can parry lights. I say let them have it, now with they GB vulnerability normalized anything else is crap.
TheUberDome already mentioned the Shinobi as one of the problematic heroes.Originally Posted by UbiYubble Go to original post

There has been absolutely no communication on what is being done to fix the Shinobi. This topic has come up so many times already and it definitely just looks like the community is being ignored.
How many times do players need to bring up the fact that the Shinobi is NOT viable ever since Patch 2.11?
