Title becomes unresponsive when launching via Steam or Uplay

    Hello!

I am unable to launch the game when booting it through Steam or Uplay. The splash screen will appear and will remain there until force closing the game through Task Manager.

I haven't played the game yet, as it is a recent purchase.
The game remains unresponsive when pre-launching Uplay or when Steam launches it for me.

In the Task Manager, ACO will have 2 processes and the Power Usage column will be marked as 'Very High'

I have downloaded and reinstalled the title twice.
I installed VCRedist from 2013, 2015, 2017, and 2019 through the Microsoft store.
I validated the integrity of game files through Steam.
No more Windows Updates are available.
The title is installed on an HDD with the rest of my Steam Library while Windows10 runs on a separate SDD.

    PC Config:
    GPU: Geforce RTX 2060
    CPU: Intel Core(i7-4770, 3.40GHz
    RAM: 16GB
    Window: Windows 10 Pro 64-bit (10.0, Build 18363) (18362.19h1_release.190318-1202)
    Display Driver: 445.87
Screen Resolution: 3840 x 2160 (Via Toshiba TV)
    Display Cable Type: HDMI

Thank you so much for your help!
If i need to provide more information, I will happily do so.

    Hey,

First of all, I would suggest to try the steps found here but for issues like this we really need to be able to look at your system files to help see what may be causing it.

Another good thing to try is to close Uplay, go to your cache folder in your Uplay directory and rename your cache folder to something like "cachebackup". Then see if you still have an issue.

If you have done those steps, I would recommend trying to get through on live chat during times that we are open so we can get your system files off you. We have times listed on here when you should be able to get through. I apologise it's not the most convenient way for everyone to send us the system files at the moment, but due to limited support during the current times, only live chat is available to get a support ticket created.
