My husband and I play on co-op on PS4 and this has become interfering with our game play. The only way we've found to get rid of it is complete shut down the application and restart which i extremely inconvenient when your in the middle of something..
I know others have addressed the issue so just to clarify for us:
-Fast traveling to a bivouac or Erewhon does not resolve the issue.
-It doesn't necessarily happen to both of us at the same time.
- We've switched between prone camo, using vegetation, and using structures. Seems to be no difference and will stick in any instance.
-We also explored trying to not "Focus" on the drone as it passes and watching it pass completely. We've also tried not opening Tac or Load-out still seems to be no real difference.
For reference we play on Immersive mode, no HUD, Extreme difficulty. All gauges turned off. Medic and Assault classes only.. we've not experimented with having those back on as that would defeat the purpose in my desire to play a tactical shooter.
*Side note- we are loving the new ghost experience and are loving the updates so far. Nice to see big changes coming and taking the advice of the masses*
Hey there,
Mentioned on this thread but this is an issue we have reported to the team and they are currently looking into it. Thank you very much for sharing the steps you have taken and how you've tried to solve it in your game, I have forwarded this information to the team.
Glad to hear you're enjoying the Ghost Experience!![]()
I have the exact same problem as you guys. I found that if you're able to get into a bush and conceal yourself from it, two shots from the Tac-50 or one shot from the HTI will bring it down without activating the Wolves hunt sequence. Keep in mind that these are suppressed shots that are being taken. Also the sound loop from it won't have a chance to play continuously. Several shots are needed with a DMR in order to bring it down.
I have found that sometimes fast traveling to a completely different region can work. Much more acceptable than having to annoyingly shut the game down as you had mentioned before. Although returning to the area can re-trigger the sound loop.
Just like you guys, I also really hope they at least hot fix this bug as it has been brought up months ago and seems to be a simple patch fix rather than having to wait for a complete game update.
Sadly folks ubi are not even able to replicate this bug, so those of us that have it cannot expect a fix anytime in the near future.
@blush,
If you were aware that ubi can't replicate the bug, it would be helpful if you passed that information on. At time when we get told it has been passed on, it can be like a carrot on a string when you may know already that the studio can't replicate it and not expressing that back to those with the issue. Thanks.
