It's obvious that this guy is messing with you at this point, and you reacted accordingly by blocking him. My guess is that he was just looking to trigger a reaction so you would try and get your revenge, so he could have his easy kills.Originally Posted by YodaMan 3D Go to original post
The DZ is all about staying on top of the situation, and in this case, you clearly won, because you didn't give them what they wanted. They didn't want your loot, they wanted you to fight, preferably with emotion, and they didn't get that, well played.
No offense, but these days SO MANY people seem to complain about how people behave in the DZ, Im not talking about the op here since he said that he had no issued with how the players treated him, but with what they said afterwards. If people enter the DZ with the mentality of a bunny, then a wolf will eat them. It's that simple, not matter how cute and good and helpful the bunny is, at the end of the day, it will die.If you decide to enter dz, be ready to die, to lose god-rolls but most importantly, if you dont feel safe GO ROGUE FIRST. When ever i see these "shield meta" players i wait for them to start shooting a boss or something, go behind them and kill them, i will not even take their loot, i just dont feel safe with them around.
Everyone aint that bad in there i,ve ran into some decent guys , you just gotta take stuff like what happened to you with a pince of salt , i,ve had loads of quality gear i,ve really needed hijacked when trying to extract solo , one guy cuts the rope the others kill u ,been shot in the back hundreds of times but i still go in there , WHY because it gives you a buzz like nothing else in this game can , plus you can farm loot so much quicker than anywhere else in the game ... A lot of people hate the DZ for various reasons , but a lot of DZers/PVPers hate the LZ , because of Boring repetative missions and stingy loot drops , Each to thier own i guess .......
We don't all conform to your particular standards of moral conduct. Each individual is built differently and everyone is unique with their own particular interests and peculiarities.Originally Posted by YodaMan 3D Go to original post
With that in mind, OF COURSE there are going to be some payers that are happy about it. Others will be indifferent. If you have something I want in the DZ, of course I am going to take it. Why not? It's free.
Of course you don't understand it 'cause you're not built that way. Others will understand it perfectly and ask why on earth you don't get it. And all this is perfectly normal.
Personally I don't see the purpose of this thread, unless of course it is your intention to analyse and get thoughts on your particular mindset, in which case all I got for you is to again state that we are all different: What you don't get is normal for another.
No shame in that. No real discussion point either but hey, that's just me.
I never rejoin a team or any of the players in that team and they all get blocked. Had similiar happen to me with teams who clearly have run together before and will be after this.Originally Posted by YodaMan 3D Go to original post
It is the dz, it doesnt mean you have to be the stain on the curtains you should have been to other players. There's no skill in it at all. Im all for nabbing extractions and playing the game to its fullest extent but if you cant trust the people next to you, why bother?
I usually go in the DZ with my friends, with the mentality that people will probably kill us, but we'll just do our best to kill them more. I usually don't take their loot unless there is something i really want, on the other hand one of my team mates just insta deconstructs everything off the ground which imo is a bit toxic and should be disabled for loot dropped by players.
But back to the topic, I did play DZ solo and met some nice people there, ofc the typical rogues too, I just don't care much if they kill me. Sadly in Div 2 it's much harder to fight back against more than 1 player, unlike it was in Div 1 back in the day, when knowledge about your skills, procs, surroundings and timing things mattered..
