    Error: Granite-200000E

So I haven't played the game in a LONG time (a year or two, I think), and I am getting this bug where as soon as I do anything noteworthy (liberating outposts especially), it keeps saying 'Quit to Main Menu?'

This bug existed for 2 YEARS now, and most of the problems don't help as I am on XBOX ONE.

    Any assistance?

    Hey there.

Can I ask you to check whether you've got space available on the drive the game is installed, please? Can I also ask you to confirm whether you're using the internal drive or an external drive connected to the console? Thanks.

It's on the external drive (2TB). I have space on the external drive (52.7GB). Saved data has been on internal.

I cleared some stuff on the internal drive and am moving all FC5 stuff to it. Is this what I need to do?

UPDATE: Problem returns even if ALL data is on an internal drive! 93.1GB free on the internal drive out of 364.9GB!

Ah, sorry to hear that! Did you perform a fresh install or transfer the files? Could you try reinstalling completely and testing again?

I transferred the files. I'll give the fresh reinstalling a try.

Do I do the same with the DLC files? I'm not used to having to reinstall.

UPDATE: I REINSTALLED FAR CRY 5 ENTIRELY ON MY INTERNAL DRIVE, AND THE ERROR IS STILL THERE

I would like to know what the error actually means!
I reinstalled the entire game on my internal drive, I made sure there was LOTS of space, and I STILL get this error! I am NOT starting a new game either since I have WEEKS, maybe MONTHS worth of progress!
And I need a solution before I lose it and break the disc in pure rage!

None of that helped! I can't even use a different XBOX thanks to the virus!
What does the error actually mean anyway? I feel as if it's a problem with the game, not the console.

It's not my save game data, is it!?

It could be save data related unfortunately. Try backing the save file up if you can and then start a new game and see if it still has the error. If it goes away, it is likely save related.

I have weeks of progress on there.
And I used another account and started a new game...it works just fine.
