    glass cannon

last night i got a perfect glass cannon vest god rolled with 15%weapon damage,6%crit hit chance and 10% skill damage. so i rolled crit hit damage in place of the skill damage so i thought what the hell i will try a glass cannon build. first couple runs with it on heroic were a bit iffy. i had to change my style of play a bit and slow down utilize cover a bit more. no more trying to face tank NPCs. Now i cant play without it probably one of the best pieces of gear in the game. went from zero to hero on a simple dps build and pretty much smashing
through all heroic difficulty. sorry for the long post but i had to share my moment of triumph with somebody. goodluck agents

Good coincidence. I was just coming here to post that this talent was unusable.

Of course it rocks in hard and challenging, but in heroic EVERYTHING one shots you.

There was Focus as an alternative talent but now it is not working unless you truly spend several seconds looking through a scope which is suicide if you play heroic or legendary.

As my group leader told me today in Wall Street :

« At the moment you get downed ( not even kill, downed ) you become a burden on your group. The best possible sign of a good DPS is not the damage he did or the kills he made.

At the end of each mission he studies our stats, and what he wants to see is 0 deaths and 0 incapacitated.

When you are a DPS and you get incapacitated, the group not only loses your DPS but the DPS of the person the Rez you. This should never happen.

So, sadly I have to leave my sacrifice behind because I am not able to not get downed I’m missions like DARPA or Manning..... wondering what I should play instead but I suppose my damages will suffer and I will need to drop back down to challenging ...

True, glass cannon hits hard but every npc oneshoot you.
Been playing with focus before they fixed the scope on the shield.
I have switched on to technician with spotter and pulse atachment on weapon. +15 constant dmg, also specialization shield is good and +1 tier makes a difference.
    Or i play with unbreakable.

just play smart and bring a reviver hive with you.i have a gila guard backpack with armor on it that seems to give me a fighting chance for a split second which is all a guy needs sometimes. i also been trying it out with the sawyer exotic kneepads. gives you alittle damage boost but staying in the same cover for to long is not the greatest strategy.

I agree with all of your comments about bringing a revive hive, I actually run it, the problem is its ridiculously long cooldown. If you use it in one fight, it will not be up in the next.

I can try running unbreakable on à damage chest maybe. For me running a blue piece is a no no on a DPS build, the other DPS will outperform you badly, leading you to be kicked from the group.

That being said I have a TP support build that I love

I use focus and get on fine in legendary missions.
To be honest it actually helps being scoped in as most of the time you will be a good distance from the NPCs so I find I hit more shots with the scope.
Obviously grenades can be a problem but as I only use the 8x one it does give more overall vision and I'm pretty good on when i should be potentially avoiding grenades.
Only problem ones are the warhounds that chuck grenades, but even not scoped in it's hard to see these on legendary.
Half the time its flying from miles away it seems.
Glass cannon is just a no for me in legendary, unbreakable is next on my list followed by spotter and then using tech specialization for the grip that pulses enemies when aiming, sort of get 3 skills then which helps on legendary for a dps player.

I know it's a dumb answer, but play the game. The Sacrifice drops from anything and any mobs, it's not particularly rare, good rolls are rare but the chest piece itself is not
