I spent a good amount of time on this thinking about how to make Shinobi less annoying to the community while also keeping his identity of a nimble and quick character that can be deadly.

· Remove long-range attacks;

· Remove long-range GB;

· Weapons would be normal sickles;

· Keep chains on arms through for aesthetic/easier design;

· Change backflip to more range;

- Not as much as before nerf but middle ground;

- As people are easily able to still hit/GB Shinobi after the backflip with it offering very little dodge ability, it's only purpose is to assist with recovery.

- Should be able to punish attacks thrown during backflip.

- This allows him to bait out attacks as before and punish for wildly swinging;

· (Optional) Give backflip invincibility frames;

· (Optional) Give second dodge GB invulnerability;

- As people are easily able to bait out the dodge because most characters have the recovery to either dodge/hit shinobi out of attacks, shinobi has to dodge early to punish;

- For both the Optional above Shinobi is supposed to be a character that is hard to hit, yet is fairly easy to grab, he should be hard to pin down;

· Increase Normal Sprint + Super Sprint speed;

- Despite having an ability to spend stamina for increased running speed, shinobi is still slower than some of the other cast while super sprinting. And his normal running speed is among the slowest in the cast;

· Increase Slide Tackle speed;

- The nerf to it made it near useless and is extremely easy to dodge, it's initial purpose was to catch targets running away, but it has no tracking and is far too slow;

- At the very least this needs to be done to track enemies running away, as now Shinobi will have no way to attack enemies running;

· Remove confirmed light on Heavy hit;

· Change opening Heavy animation to less flashy;

- It is too easy to see Shinobi's Heavies coming, easy to dodge/punish;

· Speed up opening Heavies;

- Doesn't need to be by much, but needs to be worth using;

· Change Heavies into sickle rain to have jump/spin;

- Making it harder land and more threatening to see coming;

· Double Dodge Kick now confirms Opening Heavy;

· Add chain: Light, Light, *Heavy;

- *Heavy on hit leads into sickle rain;

· Add chain: Heavy, Front Roll, Kick/*Heavy;

- *Heavy on hit leads into sickle rain;

- Front Roll input would need to be changed to GB button to give a difference between Backflip and Front Roll;

· (Optional) Add chain: Single dodge into Opening attacks;

· (Optional) Add chain: Heavy, Light, Heavy;

- I am very hesitant on this one, but I think shinobi might need more chain mix-up;

· (Optional) Add: Charge Heavy like Conqueror's (Not Unblockable) (Gives indicator of some kind) that can confirm into sickle rain;

- Dumb idea but thought I'd throw it out for thought;
