    Non-hostile "stalker" hunters

I know there are non-hostile hunters that spawn around DC, and you know when one is nearby because your HUD starts glitching. So far, I've only encountered one, and unfortunately, it was inside a building so I didn't know where he was and I missed my opportunity to get a look at him. I was wondering if there are known locations where they tend to spawn? I'd really like to get a close-up look at one (well, as close as possible anyway, since they run away if you get TOO close)

Another question related to hunters - I noticed that when in a location where it is possible to spawn a hostile hunter to loot a mask, there is a very subtle HUD glitch effect. I noticed it in the building where you have to shoot the targets in the windows, at the memorial pool where you need to salute, and at the Christmas tree you have to run around. However, I also noticed this effect at a water resource location in northeast Downtown East. Is there a hunter that spawns at that location too?

If you want to take a good look at them, wander in the area south between Lincoln Monument and the Capitol building. They can spawn on the roof of the small stores/building there. When you see your HUD glitch, just go up the roof and take a screenshot, or shoot at them.

the ones at the christmas tree..you don't have to run around that tree..just stand by it..This way they don't get the upper hand on you..then bum rush them soon as they spawn..

As far as all the locations for the stalker hunters..1 stalker hunter can have a bunch of locations in an area that they spawn..like the one at the Washington monument..he spawns on a few buildings that are around the whole monument.. So if you see one in one spot and he vanishes, he's more than likely gonna show up in one of his other spawn locations right away after..

Thanks for the tips! I finally did encounter the one near the Washington Monument. However, I couldn't get up to where he was, so I ended up getting a quick glimpse of him (looking RIGHT at me) just before he poofed. Hopefully I can learn from this and get closer next time!

Oh are you talking about the spawn point where he is on one building and you can climb on the next building without him spotting you?

I killed one up there one time sneaking up on him..the buildings are so close that there is only a small piece of board put on them to cross from one to the other..

He was curled up in the corner like he was in cover..
I ran across the board shooting and took him out before he poofed..lol

The building on the right is where he will be sitting..The little one on the left is the one you sneak up on from the back..

This is the back side where you go up..

This is where you cross to climb up on his building..

When you climb up you have to be really fast using like a nade launcher or something..I think I used the crossbow, but nade launcher is probably better..He'll be right in the corner where that chair and box is..

He was in that general area, but he actually did NOT spawn on that particular roof. I caught him again on two different buildings. The first one, I got REALLY close, but somehow missed him when I opened photo mode to pan around, but I saw him jump down, run away, and turn around to look at me before he poofed. The second time, I actually saw him spawn in on top of a building, so I snagged a quick photo. I almost made it up there without alerting him, but some Hyenas aggroed me and one of them followed me up there. When I shot her, the Hunter jumped down and ran off.

yea ,that's like a fast food place he sits up on..you can get up on the buildings across the way and pop him there also..

That road that runs kind of around the monument..if you lose him in one spot, you can pick back up on him again just running that road..

I'm not even at WT1 yet and my DPS isn't anywhere good enough to kill a Hunter in one shot, so for now I'm just playing paparazzi. I think the Hunters are really interesting. Probably my favorite piece of Division lore.

What build/gun are you running? I have spawned these guys from Normal/Hard/Challenging and they do not go down nearly as easy? (Full Red build.LMG/Rifle). I killed 3 of 4, but am missing the 4th mask, so need to respawn them and fight them again. I re-tried this, this morning on Normal, and they essentially laughed off my Pestilence lol.

That video was from before Gear 2.0..
    I haven't tried them since TU8..

I just made that one to show how they spawn and stand there for a few moments, as well as to watch out for them reviving..you have to shoot them until their loot shows gold or they can re-spawn from their revive hives..

The gun is a sweet dreams, and for the life of me can't remember what I was running..I know a lot of weapon damage and shotgun damage though..Plus Armor counted then so my armor was pretty high..
