I strongly disagree with this because those little differences can really add up.Originally Posted by SuspiciousPixel Go to original post
Take Crit Hit Chance for instance, a sub par drop on one piece of equipment is -2%. If all 6 pieces of your gear are rolled with the same low drop, then that becomes -12% critical hit chance. Then suppose your Critical Hit damage is below what it could be on all 6 pieces of your gear with just 6% shy on each of what it could be. Then you are looking at -36% Critical Hit Damage. You might again multiply these numbers and say that it comes up to a tiny number. The problem comes in when you look at the comparison of what you have vs what you could have.
What you are potentially left with:
48% CHC x 120% CHD = 57.6% Damage Bonus - What you have
60% CHC x 156% CHD = 93.6% Damage Bonus - Potential Max
When those rolls don't add up, the damage drops. You are clearly left with a significant damage reduction all because of a new progression blocker. You are a left being a liability and burden for your teammates as well as those you matchmake with.
When NPC's are as spongy and unforgiving as they are now, that damage difference is crucial. A second or 2 longer that an NPC is up is the difference between your team being successful or failing.
Yeah they probably do , but not from me, never broken a controller yet (ever)Originally Posted by CassiousCloud Go to original post

Maybe on Heroic and Legendary. It really doesn't matter on Challenging or lower. And I'm willing to bet that only a very very small % of players actually plays Heroics or Legendary.Originally Posted by TimesLostArc Go to original post
It's also assuming everyone always hits all shots, which they don't. A better skilled player with a crap build may very well outperform a bad player with a great build. Theoretical stats mean very little in a real mission.
to the fanboys that are defending the loot quality with the fact people play too much and that is a natural thing , i bought WONY 3 days ago , had to finish the story content with all level 30 gear , only changed weapons at level 38 and now that i have almost 10 hours on the end game im still running the same gear , guess why?
i have 3 armour bars and carry a shield everywhere to be able to survive, not one single decent or better than i have gear piece has dropped for me yet since i bought WONY.
That pull happens all the time to me.Originally Posted by CassiousCloud Go to original post

Can't say it's TD2's fault but they ain't the best.
The combination of state of the game and FOMO is really taking a toll on the gameplay experience. You are forced to play seasonal content even though the seasonal content is half-baked because of FOMO( fear of missing out). Ironically, Destiny 2's is also going through the same issue with FOMO with its seasonal model. At end of each season, the content is removed. A lot of players are fatigue by being forced to play content that is mediocre at cost of FOMO.Originally Posted by Riflemania Go to original post
I feel as a community we need to talk about FOMO.
You can't really take a break with this kind of seasonal model which takes a toll on the player when you are not being rewarded for your time.
True and the very big difference between this game and Destiny is , TD2 seasonal content is free (future seasons are free but the cosmetics are payable)Originally Posted by DeMizeFPS Go to original post
Destiny 2 seasons you have to pay for everything. and then it's gone.
Luckily for me in this game I don't do the content per say, not bothered by missing out on crafting mats and an exotic cache, so i'm not pressured or it doesn't take a toll on me.
