Longevity?
Too bad we won't get another mode since they split the studio between TD2 and "the avatar project" and according to Chris Gansler giving us back a mode like survival or resistance would require more than 12 months. https://imgur.com/a/NW4GygR
I just don't get it how can they release a game with just conflict as a game mode and expect longevity? Maybe TD2 was just meant as a cash grab, who knows.
Some ppl think Resistance is just another boring horde mode but ppl had something to play and improve on, instead of getting an end game build within a week and having no content to beat except 3 legendaries that are done in under 30 min each and speedrunning raid in like 15 minutes.
My personal opinion is that Massive keeps the game in its state to keep the money flow up.
Their business plan seems to be to hang on Ubisoft's goodwill.
Why i think that:
They did the same things on Division 1. Ignoring community needs. Patched the game to uselesness. Made progress in micro steps.
History is just repeating.
They get money for 'polishing up' the game, but they don't complete it to keep the money flowing in their direction.
Simple as that.
I question Gansler's ability to analyze metrics.
Population was small because it was split as payable DLC. Many people couldn't play survival because they never purchased the season pass. It split the playerbase!
'Survival' game mode was a missed opportunity Ubisoft never tapped into instead they decided to look at numbers and deemed it a FAIL!
Whilst I respect Survival and BR is not everyone's cup of tea watch this and do you agree with him or not?

What's something new that they created though that was good beside a nice open world. Kenly College was pretty boring, does anyone actually play it again after getting Diamondback? Did anyone replay the whole manhunt except for resetting CP before they gave us a proper way to reset them? Did anyone actually replay classified mission after getting the backpack trophy?
I am sure if they bring back survival, underground or resistance it would have much better replayability than what we have now.
Kenly College is some of the worst level design i've seen in a long time, legit following a 3 year olds puzzles around some boring *** areas, i just don't know what did they expect from this game, as it is rn, theres no way it survives to year 2, the raid got pushed back like 6 months now, i just hope that avatar thing was worth, them killing a promising title that is The Division.
It's nice to see someone who shares my own opinion.Originally Posted by Nennee Go to original post

And now the CP hype-train.
Oh the gullibility of the masses........
That's your opinion, of course. Much the same as I havean opinion that the game will be good.Originally Posted by Goo-Goo-Man Go to original post
I have watched a gameplay demo that was posted in April this year and right now the game looks like it's going to be a lot of fun. CD Projekt Red are known for some decent game releases.
