Hello,
I ran into an issue with Ghost Recon Wildlands after a complete Windows 10 reinstallation. I used the Uplay client function "Locate installed game", located the game, and once I run it I get the 2 following errors back to back:
GRW.exe application error: The application was unable to start correctly (0xc0000142).
and right after that
Easy Anti-Cheat: Untrusted system file (C:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher\games\Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Wildlands\msvcp110.dll)
The only way the game "runs" is when I delete the following folder:
Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Wildlands\EasyAntiCheat\Certificates
and then once it goes through the intros, I receive an in-game message saying "Outdated version" and I should try verifying the game files, then I click OK and the game exits.
Solutions I've already attempted:
1. Verified the game files, at least 10 times already.
2. Uninstalled, reinstalled and repaired EasyAnti-Cheat.
3. Uninstalled all the VC Redistributables, restarted the PC, installed them again.
4. Ran the game and Uplay client as Administrator.
5. Ran DISM and SFC system scans.
6. Moved the installation folder to the default one in C:\Program Files (x86)
7. Disabled the in-game overlay.
8. Disabled the cloud synchronisation.
9. Disabled any firewall and antivirus.
10. Cleaned the registry with CCleaner.
11. Updated Windows and all the drivers.
11. Deleted game files Uyuni.grw and GRW.ini
12. Deleted game save files, and tried using the old ones too.
13. Deleted all files in %temp% folder.
14. Disabled all non-Microsoft serives/startup from msconfig.
15. And every other possible solution I've found online.
The game is completely unplayable.

Please respond as soon as possible, my subscription is running out!
Thank you!
Update: Managed to fix it by deleting many of the small files in the game directory and letting uplay redownload them. Apparently there were problems with the installation and the uplay client verifying kept failing to identify them.
Consider the problem resolved.
Thanks for the update Pet..., and I'm glad to hear your issue was resolved.
Hope you enjoy your game-time, and should there be anything we can help you with in the future, do not hesitate and reach out at any time!
