If you come to the forums to voice your unpopular opinion, please don't be surprised when more experienced players, disagree or even negate your thread.
Please don't take offense to anybody saying that you should play or practice more to get an accurate judge on characters/the game.
I'm 100% certain if you came to the forums seeking answers or knowledge or maybe even training, that there are dozens of people who would be eager to help, myself included.
I have no problem giving knowledge about characters or mechanics in the game that a newer or maybe just unfamiliar player needs some help with. We all want to see the game succeed or at the very least have the most amount of fun we can while we play. With that being said, what I do have a problem with, is when people decide to post a thread based on little to no research or little to no knowledge on the topic, say some drastic things about the devs and state of the game, and refuse to listen to others opinions.
Don't get me wrong, id be a hypocrite if I'd say I haven't done this a few times. For example, hito, I still despiseeeee the executioner of my soul lol. But when I mentioned her, I was told by the community about ways to counter her with every hero, and given a bit more knowledge on her matchup, so fighting one isn't as agonizing as it use to be for me lol.
It just goes to show no matter what your win/loss, k/d, time played and ranked play division you are, there will always be something to improve on yourself as a player.
That's a fact. If anyone new or looking to learn said they were on PS4 and asked for help I'd jump in with them and teach em what I can. I know ranting is easier, or maybe they don't expect anyone to be helpful or kind and help them out? Idk man LolOriginally Posted by PapillonFlota Go to original post
I think you need to just play more man, the salt isnt properly ingrained yetOriginally Posted by iadvisoryi Go to original post![]()
I'm assuming this was a joke? Idk I'm bad at jokes, I'm a high rep high diamond+ player, there's a difference between salt and seriously complaining about problems only the player or very few have.Originally Posted by Sweaty_Sock Go to original post

That's the problem this game has in general, unlike other games that are clear about their issues, teach how the game works and how to deal with certain things, For Honor is blind as a bat when teaching new players how to do well, ontop of that the general poor balance of the game and it's very very very unhealthy in game community that feeds salt.Originally Posted by PapillonFlota Go to original post
Most of the time when I'm asked about For Honor by people looking to get into it, I tell them not to even bother installing, unless you go into For Honor expecting your first 100 hours to be nightmare fuel, nobody will like it. For Honor has a very poor player retention for a reason, hence why when the game is given away for FREE, the playerbase never really goes up in the long term.
