    Please fix the spam meta

First of all, this is not a rant post, I do enjoy the game.
I just find it frustrating that you have to play spam decks to be competitive in upper legendary (7500-8500). I see 3 underlying issues

Issue #1 : (low cost) meta cards have too much value
Fact : the most played card in the top 250 is Underpants Gnomes (52% of decks).
Redlynx overdid it with several buffs : gnomes, SWT, Witch Garrison... Just by comparing their stats with other cards of same energy cost, playing them is a no brainer..

Issue #2 : There is no hard-counter against spam decks
Fact : the only (reliable) punishing card against spam deck is blood elf bebe who feed on low cost units.
Arguably, arrowstorm and lebard are also counter but not "hard counters", more like equal energy trades.
Cards like bounty hunter kyle, robo bebe, mephesto, storyteller jimmy, nelly... are supposed to be counter agains swarms but they do not work. For instance, it makes no sense that a lv5 BHK would not one-shot a gnome..

Issue #3 : Tanks are not competitive
Fact : Dragon Slayer Red is played by 49% of top 250 players.
In this context, why would you play a 5+ energy unit that gets countered by a 4 energy unit?

I don't think this is hard to fix. A buff to anti-swarm and/or a slight nerf to selected units would work.
I am concerned that Redlynx does not aknowledge it. This meta has been around for a while and I don't see it getting fixed with the current pace of (random) balance changes.

Honest question: other than bounty hunter kyle that doesn't one shot, why don't the other counters you listed work? It seems to me they do quite well.

What about fireball, le Bard Timmy, sheriff Cartman, Dr Chaos, lava, fart, all Bebes really, Wonder Tweek, Nathan, MBP, SOMM, Thunderbird, Incas, Rogue Token, Super Craig, and more..?
Some are some are not, but why would you need many hard counters if the swarm can be taken care of by effects of cards you would use anyway? Most counters are card that kill swarms while also doing more.
There are many moves that can at once take care of swarms while also providing you an additional effect.

I rarely see swarms lasting on the field for more than 3-5 seconds, they might kill 1 unit in this time but get also killed, and by something that most likely will remain on the field.

    n 3 - just a personal taste
tanks are boring, few moves for big impact? Low cost decks make the game more frenzy and dynamic, imo much more fun than placing a big chunk or two in the field and watch them move, and the number of inputs from the player is larger, for a more strategic play.

    note:
I do not use Fantasy nor swarms, but I do use a low cost deck.

yea and there are a load of people running YPC now so all your spells become useles at that moment..

the meta needs to be open. DSR hold too much value, gnomes, SWT hold too much value
