When For Honor will rework it's revenge mechanic...It's so bulls*it that it doesn't even work most of the times...When I'm being ganked i always get that revenge at 25 hp or lower even tho i parry and block most of the attacks...you just can't get hit if someone is doing a unblockable than feint into guardbreak than a lawbringer pops up and hits my head... It's just so bad and unbalanced . But when I gank the enemy always gets revenge from just 1 or 2 attacks even blocked or parried...Also while in revenge mode when im switching off the enemy and lock to another one for a guardbreak the other guy just spams and you can't attack...This mechanic is so broken and useless most of the times that should be reworked . Trying to think that this mechanic is usefull ? Most of the times you are dead before it pops-up or you are already low on hp and can't do nothing..before adding new content and new maps and new !@#$ rework your game mechanics which are broken and useless :///

I’m quite aware that current revenge still needs some consistency fixes.
But there are a lot of people who come to the forums to complain about revenge without even really knowing how it works in depth. (Which I cant blame them for because the game doesn’t really tell you the details as far as I’m aware)

Revenge does work most of the time in most cases. However I think the major problem with revenge actually lies within communication. There's zero way for someone to know how much revenge/revenge tags a person has. They have to guess based on numbers not present in the game for a player to see.

Its the same reason why Revenge on attack is a stupid perk because Revenge shouldnt Pop up when your only facing one Person.

Why do you try to go offensive instead of turn defensive and try to hold out till a teammate Comes to help you?
Personlly I think the tag System is the best System we have how it is Right now, the only Thing is that it Needs some consitenty fixes and Maybe the Thing Halvtand managed to add a symoble to the hud. ( Maybe even next to the enemy Health bar.)
In resp to dunmaglass i will agree its pretty stupid, i held on to revenge for about 3 mins IRL time by holding guard mode and dodging from point c on temple garden to point a on temple garden while locked on to various opponents and tracking them to the next team fight. my problem is ubi needs to decide if revenge is meant to be an offensive mechanic or defensive and by which i mean if its purpose is defensive then get rid of dmg boost, remove knockdown on gb throw, make sprint uninterruptible, boost movement speed by 50%, immune to gbs, and essentially have it as a mechanic where you can get the hell out of a gank (bc most players SHOULD be dying on ganks (provided they are done right)) or stall enough for a teammate to help out, or make revenge more of an offensive mechanic, no shield, only 100% dmg reduction for the next (approximately) 5-10 seconds after activation, every action is uninterruptible, every action has passive hyper armor, and maybe some other aggressive related buff or debuff to the opps.
