First, let me say I know that all don't share my opinion, and the glitches and whatnot are not acceptable. I know many are battling disconnects and other stability problems, and I am sure there are a lot of builds and playstyles that are still horribly balanced. I truly hope that Massive focuses on bugs and glitches for the next release, because I want everyone to be having fun again.
But for my build and playstyle, the balance -- and in particularly the time to kill -- are back to a level that doesn't frustrate the heck out of me.
The result is, I look forward to playing again. I haven't felt that way in a long time, and especially after the WONY release which pretty much wipes everything you worked for in year 1.
That said, rogues have no place in a timed mission.
Yeah im not entirely sure what they adjusted last week, but I am actually enjoying playing Challenging / Heroic solo again, except for the loot which is still garbage, and the Fire damage which is still way overpowered, so much so that I can use a Zero-F's chest with Unbreakable get lit on fire for 2 seconds, and be halfway down on the 2nd bar by the time I roll it out.
Personally I have no big problem with the game itself. I'm happy with the difficulty levels and don't go above my capabilities. Even the bugs I can forgive, I'm sure they are working on them and will iron them out in time.
The game killer is the loot. I get that showering us with good loot will stagnate the game, but IMHO a loot rethink is needed. Removing talents from everything except Chest and Backpack was I consider a step backwards, it reduced variety and the ability to put together interesting build combinations. It also weakened players.
If you insist on giving us weak rainbow loot, give us more so that every now and then we can get a piece we can actually use.
Yes it DEFINITELY is fun!
Can't think of any other game i could spend that much time playing as i do right now with this.
I'm rly glad they changed it!Originally Posted by tcarlisle2012 Go to original post
I prefere to start all from scratch than staying with this ****ty way of how it was before Gear 2.0 like forever!
Making new build's changing stats and talents never was more fun than it is now!
Also all the bad thing's ppl use to say against the Dev's like they don't care about their community...
I think we should be happy to have exactly thouse guy's developing this game! I don't think some 1 else could make it any better!
Good thread tcarlisle2012!
Posts like this keep the community toghetter instead of tearing it apart with hate and negativity!
i like this game too, but there are too many restrictions on recalibrating your armour, needs to be more diversity. Let us carry more than one exotic we've farmed it, let us mod every part of the armour not just one slot after all we farmed the library too, also once we have earnt the blueprint let us decide what we can have on it combined with the library, I rarely use the blueprint in this game and thats a shame considering the farm needed to complete it.
So leave the loot as it is but just take out the endless search for near or perfect god rolls due to the restictions, that would be an answer, then we can consentrate on enjoying this game and perfecting different builds.
Maybe until this game makes the break from PVP, and is a stand alone PVE (coop) we will forever have these loot problem and restrictions, yes i am enjoying it more than before, but that deconstruct all button gets mashed all too often.
Yes, I do.Originally Posted by Baya. Go to original post
There were several subtle tweaks to the (challenge) missions at this tuesday's reset/maint. Mainly it appears there has been an increase in the number of NPCs as apposed to their stats. The first hint was Wall street where after dealing with Duchess and you start around the circle, if you havn't done this mission since reset, if you just start decending around the circle they have thrown in a spawn at your rear flank. First time I did this mission after the reset they took three of us down before we realized what was happening.
