It just doesn't make sense from any perspective why shaolin was the only wu lin hero to not get an opener. You have to whiff as a substitue which doesn't count. I don't really understand why he can't go into chi from neutral or soft feint heavies into gb [something every hero should have honestly]. If he had enchanced lights it would be alot better but he should just be able to access chi stance similar to highlander OS stance. Or give him a 500-600ms bash that confirms a light which puts him into chi

No he does, he has his soft feintable side dodge heavy and a forward dodge heavy soft feint to kick. Both instantly accesible from neutral. Nuxia has her traps and tiandi has his dodge attacks plus probably the best bash in the game. Shaloin has literally nothing

Is it though? Imagine if lawbringer didn't have his shove or parry punishes or enhanced side lights. His "opener" would just be his predictabe top light same as shaolin. He needs something more flexible like the other wulin [I am not including zanhu because he was added way later and is trash]

I would start with making his lights enhanced. That would give him better access to his Sun Kick mixups and UB heavy.

Your right, i thought he was saying jiang jun because for whatever reason you guys are puting a 'j' where there is supposed to be a 'z' and i always forget zhanhu exists because he never picked. He also needs some sort of neutral unblockable or softfeint

Canadian are you talking about zhanhu's side dodge when it hits the opponents weapons
he does a fist strike that drains stamina or are you talking about JJ when he does a
forward heavy that softfeints into a kick which gives a free heavy on wallsplat.
