    Far Cry 5 Performance Issues

Hello. I'm currently struggling to average around 70 FPS on FC5. I get about 55-70 in gunfights with maybe ~10 enemies. Walking around, I get 75 if I'm not in a area that's either forest, a town, or an outpost (even then I get maybe 55 in outposts). I watch benchmarks of people with similar setups, with some having a processor that's a few years older than mine and they're easily averaging 100-110 FPS on ultra settings.

The main problem is, I have a Ryzen 7 3700x and an RTX 2070 with 8GB of video memory. I'm only using about 2.7 GB of video memory with ultra settings in game and playing on 1080p.

Am I missing something? I've messed with a **** ton of settings to no avail. Any other game I run perfectly fine, so I refuse to believe there's any sort of bottleneck or anything going on. Any suggestions will help. Thanks.best vertical mouse

    Hey,

There's always going to be different results when it comes to similar or slightly similar setups and it could just be the things you have running on your computer vs. what they have running, the drive you have it installed on, or the things you plugged in to the computer such as controllers or other USB devices. I would also suggest to try the troubleshooting found here as these may also help.
