I have just maxed out the skill duration of my watch, then I realised the duration of the Gunner skill - Banshee has changed from 10s to 12s which mean the first cool down of the skill increased for another 2 seconds.
I also attached an image which I took from the game, when I use the 15% effect duration of Gunner specialisation skill attachment, the duration increases from 12s to 13.8s (added 1.8s). I use the effect duration skill attachment and add the skill duration of my watch just to increase the cool down of banshee pulse? Please tell me this is not intended. It really bug me off because all the time I have been invested to grind for the perfect gears to shorten the cool down and increase the status duration, yet this "duration" of the banshee skill increased just like that to cool down longer now.

Maybe I am confused but it shows the cool down at 8.2 seconds which is faster than the 2 times mentioned in your post.
Sorry it is giving you trouble but I do not understand the problem. 8 seconds is a good cool down time to me. I don’t use the banshee pulse but I can test it later but would need to know more about your build first if you want me to test it. What attributes and brand/gear sets you use so I can properly look into the issue.
Oh right, with skills that gives NPC status effects such as the Banshee pulse or the blinded Firefly, putting on "skill duration" mods does not help, you should look for status effects mods like the one unlockable with the Gunner Specialization. And like Scootsu said, 8s of CD is pretty good, my pulse takes 14s. Skill duration contributes to healing skills such as the hive or chem launcher heal. But it doesn't help with status effects.

You guys are not understanding what the post is in regards to. The skill has 2 cooldowns. Duration is 1 and the skill is another. The skill does not go on cool down until the duration cool down is done. That is the issue. There should be no duration cool down. The skill should go on cool down as soon as it is used. Instead of an 8 second cool down on the skill it has a 12 second duration cool down and an 8 second skill cool down. The mods make the skill worse also because they increase the duration cool down. Use the skill, equip the mods and read the tooltip info on it. SHD levels should not be making a skill worse and in the case of Banshee pulse it does.
I understand what you mean about two skill cooldowns for Banshee and it's not new because that is how it is for Banshee pulse. In the description it says it generates a confusion wave to confuse enemies, and that requires ISAC or agents to press hand hold to charge it up. It has always been how it is with two cooldowns, not a bug or anything wrong with it, ever since the Gunner Specialization is introduced.Originally Posted by ReviveMePeople Go to original post

The 15% effect duration gunner skill attachment should add to effect duration instead of duration. I can choose to use the skill haste attachment anyway instead of the specilization skill attachment but the watch skill duration bother me too much that it increased the duration from 10s to 12s.
