S Tier: Every character.
I'm not saying that not a single character has the same amount of tools in theory but that every single one is capable of beating every single character if you play mind games with your opponent, that is, as I like to call it, the battle of the minds. I have played as Centurion quite a lot, and Warlord, in Duels and know that I have won as soon as I pick my character because my opponent thinks Centurion/Warlord is garbage in comparison to their character, which is usually Warden, Orochi, Lawbringer, Kensei, and Gladiator. All because I beat my opponent, not the character: the character is a tool, nothing more.
Characters who have an insane number of tools at their disposal: Aramusha (and yet people think he's garbage when they couldn't be further from the truth given his insane feint game and offense), Highlander (insane feint game and offense), Shaolin, Jiang Jun, Black Prior (his Bulwark Counter feint game is the best defense without question in my opinion due to the fact that only guardbreak can beat it, and you must make a good read to punish them for it because if it's too late they can counter guardbreak). Then of course there is Zhanhu, and I can't believe people have complained about his unblockable light attack finishers: that's an incredible concept to be implemented and should remain in the game no matter how many people complain about it.
This tier list will never change even if every character gets nerfed, and as long as the game's mechanics stay the same.
Well no. We have bad Hereos. And the pickrate shows us this. Who's playing centurion in A 1v1? Still can not feint his Zone and his unblock-attack/punch. It is not important If ur winning a fight. It is important how to win a fight. And with Centurion, i don't have fun anymore. You can easy counter his lights, his unblock-attack, his punch, his kick, no fast blockbreaks. Same thing with Shinobi. No one have fun with this charakters. Thats why we need some reworks, buffs. I think er want fun for all
I didn't say that I thought Warlord was garbage: what I said was that other people think Warlord is garbage and think that they won, or lost depending on your perspective, simply because their opponent picked him and they picked someone like Warden, who is regarded as one of the best in the game all because of his shoulder bash mixup. I too think that Warlord is an awesome character, especially given the number of tools at his disposal.
Endshooter123,
That tier list is no joke. Every character is only as good as the player who uses them. If we followed the reasoning then if you pick a character like Warden when you're new to playing the game, then you're bound to win no matter how experienced your opponent is, which doesn't make any sense because if that new Warden player doesn't know anything about the game, they will be crushed. There are no bad heroes: if you believe you have lost as soon as you pick your character and/or your opponent picks a character you believe to be better than yours, then you have lost. You can talk about statistics all you want, but the data will only reflect this mentality, the mentality of a loser, and I realize that is quite blunt and perhaps may be very offensive to people, but you must believe you can win or else you will lose the mind games, and subsequently the match. As for who's playing Centurion 1v1, I am. I love the character to death: despite the fact that he has one of the most limited number of tools at his disposal, he can still win if you beat your opponent in the mind games. Also, I love his style. I think he is one of the most stylish characters in the game.
