The game in general wasn't built for this, so yeah, It will cause all sorts of problems unless It gets nerfed. Another type of the issue can be seen in tracks such as Harlem West, where you have to take non-sense lines just to have a chance or do things the "tame" or even normal way while praying everyone else wipes out trying to abuse this OP air nos. Just a gameplay-hurting feature overall. Not much else to say.
Saddly I'm pretty much sure that game will only continue to evolve in this direction, flying rocket cars, jumping boats, hovercraft-helicopters and stuff like that. For sure, this won't be removed from the game... So if you're not an 9 year you will loose interest. I'm also completely disappointed with all the latest additions to physics, but this air nitrous bs is the top of my disappointment. I know for sure that i'll never again buy another racing game from them. Seems that their interest zone is between 5 and 14 year old audience

A "fun" factor, as you called it, is a rather subjective statement because for you it might be fun. For us, it is not. Don't be selfish and remember that others also play this game and have their needs.Originally Posted by LegendOfGta Go to original post
People have spent like 1000-1500 hours playing competitive and now you tell them, you know what? Screw it.
Is it? What was the original point of a game...to have fun. Problem is video games these days focus more on the competitive side than the "fun factor". Games are meant to be a form of entertainment. Another form of having fun. Not being overly competitive or rage-inducing. If you focus more on the competitive side than the fun factor of games, it's time to take a break. Your scores, your ranks, your K/D are just meaningless numbers that only have value in the game; not at all in the real world.Originally Posted by Liam__Gallaher Go to original post
EDIT: And I find it extremely fun to ramp off a jump and fly over half a city block. It's the most fun doing on the Sand Dune race.
Who says that competing is no fun?
The Summit is or better said was supposed to be a competition and was fun for quite some time until all kinds of crap, which non-competetive players consider "fun", ruined it.
I'm not the natural competetive player, in fact i'm more a "hardcore"-cruiser, but i also like to compete from time to time and have fun with it, as long as the competition is not all about using all kind of glitches and crap that accidently comes to overpowered into the game like this airnitro-crap to get the best results but more about skilled driving. And things like this airnitro-crap do not require any skill. Things like the current escape just require pure luck to get through it without hitting trees and rocks and without cars behaving weird.
But i guess i'm getting to old for this crap to understand why such bs is considered fun.
