Oh i thought we were playing "will start a fight by saying stuff that isn't true to start a fight" Look you can disagree with me, that's not a reason to say everything i do is whine, because from my view you are just coming here to start a fight.Originally Posted by Escritores Go to original post

Personal choice but I quit playing and getting back into DCS and Elite Dangerous and don't have second thoughts. Used to play TD2 every day for at least a couple hours a day but just get tired of the constant nerf, bug/glitches on repeat. Hell, even the content creators that complain about the game constantly can't quit the game or move on because they will lose viewers. TD2 the "BrokeBack Mountain" of games. And the game never has been fixed since release, so another 2-3 months it being fixed? Not a chance.
I'm gonna give them a bit of trust on this one. It was the same when they announced TU7. Took a major break from playing the game, 2-3 months, & when TU7 landed it was a blast.
Yeah, of course, some major bugs came with TU7, but they were fixed in a month or so. But it was the best TU in my opinion. I'm pretty sure they're gonna do right by this one.
I wish I shared your optimism. I watched yesterday's SoTG, and I just couldn't help but feel like I've been through this all before. I've tried giving the devs the benefit of the doubt, and while I don't believe they've instituted nerfs or have failed to fix bugs out of any sense of malice toward players, I do feel like it's gotten to the point where there's only so much I can overlook. There's only so many times I can hear "that was unintended", "we're working on it", "a fix is coming", etc. before it just rings hollow, and I have to wonder about the competency of the crew assigned to this project, and their ability to present a clear vision for this game/series and follow through with a quality product.Originally Posted by Ranger_Logan Go to original post
It's been 4 years of this from Massive: introducing new content and new features, which inevitably introduces new bugs (added to existing ones that never get fixed), all while professing to be balancing everything (which never really happens), and even when things seem to reach a point of relative stability, changes are introduced anyway, which have the potential to ruin your build(s) overnight, and you're constantly having to adjust your gear, farm for new stuff, and hope it all doesn't get wrecked by the next update.
I'm tired of trying to figure out confusing item descriptions or unusual game behavior and wondering if something is intentional or a bug. And I'm tired of feeling like I'm constantly going around in circles, like every time I start to make a little progress, and start to feel powerful and am enjoying myself, the devs come along to yank the rug out from under my feet by completely changing how gear works, or removing talents, or nerfing my favorite weapon, or making enemies bullet sponges again. It feels like they just keep making the same mistakes over and over, and their method of fixing things comes across as reactionary, like "let's see what this does", rather than anything that's borne out of a well-formulated and well-communicated plan.
I do want Massive to succeed, and I want this game/series to be great, as there's a lot about it that I like. And I'm not saying that other people should stop playing or anything like that. If you still like the game and are enjoying playing it, good for you, more power to you. But as for me, my confidence in this dev team, after 4 years of much the same routine, has worn thin.
Funnily enough I am playing Bus Simulator, yep, I drive a bus around some of a made up American state collecting passengers, dropping passengers off and catching fare dodgers. It's strange because being from England and not being able to drive in real life makes this hard because Americans always drive on the wrong side of the road, lol. Add to that the fact that I don't know the rules of the road in America I get fines all the time for passing red lights, awkward system, much?Originally Posted by ink3pointoh Go to original post
Secondly I am playing Train Sim World (TSW2020) I don't know anything about train signals, tracks or how trains even work. I just start up the train via looking at some notes I made. (Lots of different trains, lots of different ways to start them) I drive to my destination which is real time scheduling. If it takes half an hour to get from destination 1 to destination 2 in real life, it will take the same amount of time in game. Between destinations there isn't much to do except keep look out for signals I don't understand and watch out for speed limits because some trains can take over a mile to even stop. My judgement at stopping different models of trains sucks.
And I am still having more fun than I was when I was playing the Division 2 on my Xbox.
I am waiting for Flight Sim 2020 and then I can crash lots of planes, busses and trains causing chaos in my little sim world. These games are fun little chill out games. I have never even played Sim games before I played these games. What a lucky find.
Like someone around here said I think Ubisoft might have been given out a warning to Massive or even someone higher up at Massive. Because they weren't all that cocky & proud in the SOTG. Those wore grown men that were told they did something terribly wrong & had to apologize. It's pathetic & depressing to have management intervene when you claim "we listen to feedback".
I feel you. Many times this felt like a merry-go-round. I'm gonna give them this last bit of trust. If they fail this time & release a stupid bug that was so damn obvious that a 10 year old could've noticed I won't spare the kind words. They seriously need to unscrew themselves!
Nothing works for me, as tactics go, in this current TU that I used in TU7 because a lot of the NPC's are rendered immune due to broken mechanics and I've managed to squeeze this last bit of focus to ignore all the bugs, when they happen.
