The crazy thing is the community were already moaning after Wildlands that there was too many drones so what do Ubi do... up the drone count by 50000... unreal pshOriginally Posted by Kean_1 Go to original post
Their way of dealing with it was giving you a shock pistol. The truth is, they will develop nothing to deal with drones that comes in a non-lethal form. I had actually discussed what they could have done during development for giving players the option of a non-lethal approach.

I know. Remember all the jokes about Ghost War becoming "Drone Wars". How did they ever interpret that as the community wanting more drones?Originally Posted by Flaw3dGenius23 Go to original post
IMO, that just lends to the credibility of those who say Ubi was never really listening like they said they were. ....either that or they just thought they knew better than their fans what they wanted but the fact that they were surprised by the backlash / failure of GRB tells me it was the former.
Just watched your video. Sounds like good compromise if Ubisoft doesn't want to give us the option to remove them. Being able to find the camp's done station and stealthily shut them down would be nice addition.Originally Posted by Gmoneymozart Go to original post
I remember reading on a couple if not few posts the different options that the devs could have implemented the Anti -Drone weapons but of course nothing came about it but I am sure it is in the list they have and are burning the midnight oil looking at it. When will we hear anything about it, I am sure than soon.Originally Posted by Kean_1 Go to original post
You would think this would have been one of the things that would have been implemented for the Immersive Mode but nope, nothing says Immersive like fighting drones made from the Flash DNA.Originally Posted by Flaw3dGenius23 Go to original post![]()
For thos you just have to prioritize your approach on a camp. I play all stealth and my character essentially is a young Sam Fisher from the 1st Splinter Cell game. The drones are the first thing I take down by either using the EMP grenades or the Echelon electric stunner. After that then I take out all snipers so I can move about freely. Also I shoot out all the lights to create darkness or find the generator and sabotage it and wait until the first alert response goes back to normal before heading to my objectives in the game. I create my own Splinter Cell experience with this game, that's why I have so much fun in Breakpoint. Though the game has it's flaws, I play a certain style where those flaws really don't make a difference. And when I really want to take my time, I even go further and shoot out "cameras" in the interior buildings to immerse myself fully. I can take a good 45-60mins on one base depending on the size to really make it feel like a Splinter Cell type game when completing my objectives.Originally Posted by Tizodd Go to original post
This whole Splinter Cell is getting old. This is Ghost Recon. Sam has/had is own game. Ghosts can go loud and still be effective. This is not strickly a sneak around game. That's why we have LMG's and shotguns.Originally Posted by FCacGRdvWD Go to original post
The game allows you to play whatever way you want. You can go in guns blazing and use LMG's and shot guns. Whose stopping you? You just have a higher chance of getting overrun and dying but you can definitely play it that way. Or play coop to have someone watch your back until episode 3 and they introduce AI teammates. Which I don't know why everyone so gun ho about having AI teammates when that was the number one complaint in Future Soldier and Wildlands! That AI teammates would get spotted and didnt really help in gun fights.Originally Posted by D.O.Double_G. Go to original post
