Why AI lows you to 1% HP and then stops to hit you?

    Hello, guys.

Have you noticed that usually when you are on full HP/Armor enemies on high difficulties (no matter what distance is) very often down you to 1% HP less than in a second?
But! After that with this 1%HP you can run around for like 2-3 seconds alive, easily evading their bullets like Neo?

So it looks like scripted: if AI downs you to 1% - all bullets from enemies are stopped to be registered for next couple seconds.

How do you think - is this OK?

It's common to video games. All health bars are not the same. Some games the last health bar can have more health than all the other bars combined or the AI becomes a bad shots. It adds a sense of danger and excitement.,

I also noticed that once the armor breaks and consume all bars of hp it seems like I am invulnerable for a couple of seconds. Maybe a feature for pve

That's exactly how it works. The devs explained their design goals on several occasions - basically, they want the game to be challenging (hence the enemies can hit you very hard), but they don't want them to one-shot players without any warning (that would be no fun), Hence, they implemented a system where a shot that would one-shot-kill you, actually does not, but leaves you with no armor and minimal health instead. This gives you second or two to find a way out and get to safety.

but it does not work always
i dont think you are actually invincible, but there is like a buffer of damage
take a named tank head on, you will see there is not 2 seconds, maybe half second now.

It's ok and Intended. It's some sort of last breath or last stand or whatever. A few seconds to take a breath and jump into cover. It can happen ONLY if you were heart with minor damage (assault rifles for example). Doesn't protect you from the damage, that overkills you, like a snipe shot from elite sniper doggy on Heroic. Also, doesn't protect you from DoTs
