I dont even need 10sec for an Elite with my shotgun build on heroic. You are doing something very very wrong.

So if an Elite walks up to you with full armor - I think Massive wants us to offer them a Cup of Tea and Biscuits cause shooting them is pointless.
Can't meele them - because our melee damage is 100 whiles there's is 500,000.
Can't kill them when next to us cause they kill you in 3s and it takes 10 to kill them.

Massive its time to realize you need to find new people to handle balancing.
Because if we can't run away to cover behind us ( thanks to ridiculously overpowered enemy weapons )
What do you want players to do?
Wave Hi and ask them to join in a Selfie before they kill you?
And that's why I stopped playing this garbage. And I think there are many like me who stopped playing. Thanks Massive and Ubisoft for this "awesome" game where you don't play to have fun but to have more stress and bad time.

Their definition of balance is drop the nerfhammer on anything that allows the players a fighting chance. And by nerfhammer I mean completely kill whatever people are using. Just watch how long it takes for the next meta to get nerfed into being useful for deconstruction for crafting materials. Nerfssive suits them 100%.
Don't you mean the Delete button instead?

Did you test all assault rifles and pick the best one? Was it a 2% rolled one or a god rolled one? What is your build? "crit build" doesn't tell us much? Etc etc etc... Way too much info missing from the OP to base anything on.

Don't get me wrong I do agree ARs need to be buffed in base damage, but the OP is just lacking way too much info to be a proper proven "test".

Edit: Just did a quick test to see and you're definitely doing something very wrong or your build is not a crit build or is just really low rolled.

Heroic - Very Hard - A 70%'ish rolled AR all 3 stats - Unbreakable chest so no Glasscannon - No Hollow Man - No Perfect Vigilance - Only 2/6 items 3x God Roll - All Body Shots

Sooooo.... Yeah something is definitely very wrong with your test...

    And did another test.

Same difficulty, build etc etc etc as above just with a 3x God Rolled P416 instead of the FAMAS on the above picture.

So again... Yeeeah... Not even remotely near those 63 seconds.

Also were they all body shots. All head shots, or a mixture. Did you miss shots?

My crit build with a P416 with fast hands was in the 40s before the buff. It takes work, but I still think the NPCs will be nerfed in the end.
Also the reload time between each elite skews your ttk numbers. Ttk calculation would ideally be based on a single target

Shooting range is pointless for a real test as targets don't duck and dive like NPCS.

Whilst I agree that it's not perfect, it's not pointless either. Sure it's done in a vacuum, under perfect conditions on non moving target, but it's useful to show a TTK in a condition where you properly land your shots, which is something you should be doing, despite the NPC movement in real situations.

Trying to hit NPC, whilst they are diving for cover is just artificially extending your ttk and wasting ammo btw. Just like we are hard to hit whilst moving from cover cover, so are they, so I never aim down and shoot at NPC, whilst they dive like that. It's only when they pop up from that cover or peek that I focus them down again.

There will only be a small percentage of players interested in this finding generally those that take an inner interest in the mechanics of gameplay. Those players who are experienced would not shoot at moving targets lol. My post was to point out that a more realistic TTK can only be judge in the game world (not a controlled environment).
