So I am running a Crit build
On Very Hard ( 6 Elites ) Shooting range comes to roughly 10s per elite for Assault Rifles after their "Buff"
M1A after 40% damage nerf TTK is now roughly 50s for 6 elites
So if an Elite walks up to you with full armor - I think Massive wants us to offer them a Cup of Tea and Biscuits cause shooting them is pointless.
Can't meele them - because our melee damage is 100 whiles there's is 500,000.
Can't kill them when next to us cause they kill you in 3s and it takes 10 to kill them.
Massive its time to realize you need to find new people to handle balancing.
Because if we can't run away to cover behind us ( thanks to ridiculously overpowered enemy weapons )
What do you want players to do?
Wave Hi and ask them to join in a Selfie before they kill you?
What makes it worse ( more like hilarious )
They think a Darkzone TTK of 1s is perfectly FINE.
While at the same time thinking an Elite TTK of 10s is "Perfectly Fine"
There are better ways to add difficulty to the game than simply increasing values until you irritate your fanbase.
They simply don't care, it's quite obvious they don't care, or simply don't know how to balance. Their definition of balance is drop the nerfhammer on anything that allows the players a fighting chance. And by nerfhammer I mean completely kill whatever people are using. Just watch how long it takes for the next meta to get nerfed into being useful for deconstruction for crafting materials. Nerfssive suits them 100%.
Doesn't take my build 10's to kill an Elite in heroic global, EB AR is less than a mag. Not sure how the heroic LZ Elites stacks up to the shooting range Elites though. Will give it ago on shooting range later.
M1A still takes elites out in less than a mag, certainly doesn't take 10's to shoot one mag
Not in game currently but I think its 105k damage, 59.7% CHC and 189% CHD for the Eagle. No contractors gloves or Hollow man mask in build.
Going to be different in group play I expect, not given that ago currently and the legendary missions are going to be tough for a while until we get used to the TTK
I mean you are not wrong on your last statement, but so far from what I've seen in this forum some players don't want the enemies to flank them, they don't want to be rushed, they don't want attempts by the NPC to flush them out of cover with grenades or Riot foams or having RC cars, drones and such push their position etc... Could you think of more ways to add challenge? Because after eliminating all of those the list is running pretty thin from where I am sitting IMO.Originally Posted by Agent_Ares Go to original post
There is a lot more things to put in account when talking about NPC TTK then just builds and numbers. How many shots the player has landed? Where those shots have landed? What is the build they are running? Etc etc. I don't know if you will believe me (you probably won't, because IMO I hardly believed it myself), but there was instances where I out dps'ed full meta M1A rifle builds with HEALER build. Yes, you heard it right... with a full healer build, whilst having only about 50k Weapon damage and absolutely no other means of dealing damage. I also have seen people on Heroic running purple and blue gear pieces.
So when I hear people having so much issues with TTK, whilst I see absolutely no issues with TTK myself (from either dps and skills build) I can't help, but start thinking about those few examples I gave you above.

You should have posted a pic of your stats page with talents. . I don't know what I’m looking at.
Also were they all body shots. All head shots, or a mixture. Did you miss shots?
My crit build with a P416 with fast hands was in the 40s before the buff. It takes work, but I still think the NPCs will be nerfed in the end.
