    Behemoths in immersive mode...

Is it me or are the behemoths broken in immersive mode especially in solo mode? They take a ton of bullets and do a lot of damage which kind of ridiculous considering that they seem to spam missiles and gas. The turret also injures you quickly and you hardly have enough time to bandage yourself... Can someone post a video or guide of soloing a behemoth in immersive mode? I even lowered the difficulty but still find it artificially difficult...

    So behemoths...

Class wise you'll want panther for the cloak spray IMHO

Load up on RPG and EMP grenades, get to a decent vantage point and hit them with as many RPG's as possible to strip their armour and do as much damage as possible from a safe distance.

Then cloak and emp them, then machine gun them using something like an upgraded stoner to tear down their health. Repeat to keep them paralysed and blind to you.

That or use rolling thunder and try and pick them off from a distance but you'll still want to strip that armour first. Aim for the blue weak spots to paralyse them. You'll need to keep running around to avoid the artillery.

There's also a tiny little eye thing right in the centre of them that's only exposed when their barrage weapon comes out - hit that for massive damage.

Remember to unsuppress your weapons, once the machine gun has run out of ammo instead of reloading switch weapon - stealth doesn't help against these boys and you want to do as much damage as possible to keep them malfunctioning.

    Good luck!

Dismantling Behemoths is easy once you know how. I do not have a class selected, and they are not necessary in immersive mode. My perspective is full extreme difficulty, light HUD, immersive mode active.

First, choose a course to run around the behemoth, whether it's back and forth from cover over a 200 meter span, or up in the hills shooting long rangeover a 100-150 meter span. Make sure there are no enemies in range of the BEHEMOTH'S ZONE as well as your COURSE ZONE. Certain locations tend to have patrols along them that move to the behemoth's explosion, occasionally intercepting you on your movement through your course - take them out of the equation. Once your course is tidy, the key is moving and taking educated, consistent shots. It may be smartest to open the fight with a rocket to your preferred armor plate. When comfortable with moving along your course, you'll find that the full spread of the behemoth's artillery is much less than you'd originally think. After you shoot at the behemoth, duck behind cover, and carefully make your way around your designated course. If you move too quickly within 300 meters of the behemoth, it will "find" you and launch gas/mortars to the last place it heard you. The closer you are to the behemoth, the lower and slower you need to move to avoid it's excellent hearing.

Along your course, only pop your head out of cover to shoot (limiting your fire to 3 seconds at most to be safe [dependent on proximity and weaponry]) and listen to where the behemoth could possibly be before peeking. Focus on one piece of armor, I tend to enjoy the large plate in front of the behemoth covering the orange gooey bits. As posted above, the blue lights are stun points. Save a stun point for exposed cores soon after a reload, as that's your biggest window to pump damage into the machine. Once you get the hang of taking down the behemoths, you'll find it is possible to take one down completely from stealth, as the entire fight becomes a rinse and repeat scenario. The trick is to not get flustered or tilted. It takes time solo, so be prepared to spend a few minutes on the fight.
