Problem is that they take the easy way. People grind gear with that already broken game, and what ubi did is to nerf their builds and not even trie to fix other mess. Instead of nerfing M1A they shoud buff other weapons. But yea lets loose more player base.

This Nerf has destroyed my build as well but we don't yet know if this was intended (by design) or not. The fact it was not in the patch notes means it may have ben an unintended change in the update. Let's give the guys at massive till tomorrows SOTG to respond. It very well may be that it was not supposed to be changed at all and got past Q&A simply because of how much they have to test with each update.

Massive has never been afraid to let us know if they were planning to nerf something (remember the Eagle Barrier nerf situation) so let's give them a chance to respond on the matter via twitter or by tomorrows state of the game broadcast before we start sharpening the pitchforks.

Why not just make every gear the same. Like all weapons have 10k damage and armors have 500 armor without attributes.

Never need to nerf again cuz everything are just garbage.

    Easy.

They already updated the patch notes to indicate that it was intentional.

After the update, the Class M1A now has 180rpm at the same base damage as the SOCOM and CQB versions. However, the SOCOM and CQB M1A's shoot at 320rpm and have muzzle mod slots. So why didn't Massive they just delete the Classic M1A since there is literally no reason for it to even exist? Same goes for all NATO semi-auto snipers since only the Soviet SVD's shoot straight in this game.

They never mentioned (SOTG etc.) in advance that they were going to nerf M1A. They tried to hide it. That "Due to a lapse in communication, it didn't make into the list." is a pity excuse.
They talked about Fox's and Constructor nerf, but forgot to mention best-weapon-ever M1A? I don't believe it.

this is how you balance a glass canon build.
Before it was, huge damage at the cost of all survivability.
Now it's just sacrificing survivability for no gain

At least they found a way to make a healer build mendatory

This is how we buff a build at massive...
